We stayed in one of the studio apartments and it was lovely. It was spacious and equipped with everything you needed. The kitchenette was clean and had all items you could need. The apartment was clean also and received regular housekeeping. The reception was friendly and the check in was easy. The resort had what I've heard is a fabulous restaurant and swimming pool although we didn't have time to tryout them out. The location was ideal for both the motorway and local amenities to explore the surrounding area. The stay was great and would definitely stay there again the next time when we are visiting friends and family we will definitely stay here again.

Family trip

Lovely experience. Greeting at reception was very welcoming then it just got better from there. The spacious rooms were great. We enjoyed our stay in the Lake District very much and would highly recommend this location to stay. You will not be disappointed. James from Oshawa.

The lodge was spacious for a family of 2+2. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. There was no water sports since it is February. We enjoyed swimming at the pool and playing tennis and mini golf as a family. There are beautiful walks around the lake. Plenty of ducks and swans in the lake. However we found that floor in the lodge was sticky and not clean. One thing we noticed was, there was no tablet provided to wash clothes in the washing machine.

Lovely place, lodge was clean, had everything you would need, over looking the lake, space for parking car too, we went swimming which was great, took the kids in the games room which they enjoyed, had two meals in the Restaurant, they were lovely and you get alot, we had a nice two break and very relaxing.

We'll be back :)

Our first time at this place. In general the lodge was nice with everything you need. Wee comments: It had electric heating which didn't manage to cope with weather outside, so the lodge was as cosy/warm as it should be. Also the lack of thermostat meant that temperature couldn't be controlled. No proper heating in the bathrooms Kitchen seems to be renovated recently but for some some reason they decided to install old fashioned electric hob, instead of modern induction ones, two problems with tha, It takes ages to hear a water to boil, No control/indication that the hob is on and/or still hot. (Managed to burn myself, even though I was the one using it, so can be much more dangerous for other people/children) They are not energy efficient compared to induction ones (and the resort is playing the eco card)

We booked the Pines for 3 nights and we were both pleasantly surprised, it's a gem. The lodges are set around a tranquil lake and are easily accessible from the M6. The lodge was very clean and very well equipped, comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels and central heating. The staff were really friendly and informative. The bar area is relaxing and inviting, I cannot really comment on the quality of the food at the restaurant as the lodges are geared for self catering with extensive equipment, such as, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, everything you need is provided...so we didn't eat in the restaurant but did notice the menu prices seemed expensive. Obviously been so close to major roads we expected some noise from traffic, but it was minimal and the lodges are double glazed. We really enjoyed our stay😊 I'd definitely recommend giving the Pines a visit.

Outstanding!

The cleanliness of the property was outstanding and so very comfortable . The handsoaps,dishwasher tabs,laundry sachets were all wonderful touches. Staff were extremely polite,friendly and very helpful. I will definitely recommend a stay here.
