Staff was very good. Concierge at checkin was very efficient and desk staff very helpful. Unfortunately no room available when I arrived and they couldn’t give me an estimate of availability Windows are not sound proofed. All I could hear was jackhammers for an hour so they moved me to a new room. It had an enclosed patio which I initially thought was good but it made the room very dark. It unfortunately smelled of smoke. On the positive it had a great view. Mould on the tile in shower at bottom and a few surfaces needed cleaning in kitchen and balcony. Staff offered another room but I was done moving. Kitchen services were great. Pool was very nice. Area was accessible to restaurants, transport, shopping. Very convenient. Felt very safe and they worked hard to make my stay a good one.

The front desk staff and maintenance people were outstanding. Unfortunately, there were a number of important short comings. First, we were given a room with a balcony with a terrible view which included a very old run down building right next to the balcony area. Second, the tv and telephone didn't work. Third, there was a fowl smell coming from the washer and dryer closet. Fourth, there were flies coming out of the shower drain. Fifth, the room required structural repairs which including a shower head that was not working properly. Although the cleaning staff came only once during our stay the room generally felt unclean. The staff did manage to sort things out so we can stay there comfortably enough, athought the tv chromecast never did work. Overall very disappointing for a hotel supposedly rated a 4 .

I hate writing bad reviews but I want others to be aware of the negative aspects of this hotel. First of all the staff were very nice and helpful. The elevator’s at this hotel are a nightmare and I believe it has over 50 floors there were times we had to wait over 30 minutes to get to our room. Second we found a huge cockroach in our bathroom!!! First room they gave us the fridge did not work. Great location in Sydney but I will definitely never stay there again!!!!!!!

Check went very smoothly, checked in early. The suite was very clean had all amenities including kitchen appliances etc. even a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The location was great in the CBD. Walking distance to shopping & restaurants. Only drawback, the pool & gym were closed for servicing the day I wanted to use them

The photos on Expedia has a sofa couch and a workdesk. But in reality, just two sofa seats with a tiny kitchen table. All the end tables and kitchen table are tiny.

Apartments very spacious, but the building needs better maintenance. Mould in the bathroom grout. Elevator system is very frustrating. There are long lines in the lobby to access elevators.

Lift wait was nearly 30 minutes to go up EACH time from the Lobby which was not explained or disclosed during booking. The line was out the entrance of the hotel at times! I definitely would have stayed somewhere else knowing this. Would be interested to have hotel staff reach out and contact me about this as the guest experience overall was truly strained by this. Stay tuned for any response and resolution from the hotel. I will post an updated review. Most frustrating as food always got cold once we get upstairs. Arrived with dirt all over bathroom floor - called and promptly cleaned which was a good remedy. Otherwise, location great and staff friendly.

Lovely spacious suite with kitchenette and even a washing machine. Incredible view of the Sydney city skyline from the 43rd floor. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Mertion suites Kent street

Great place to stay close to Town Hall station and light rail system. Lots of choices for food, Coles grocery/liquor were down the street. The Meriton staff were very good. Would recommend staying there ... great location
