Front desk staff were very professional and helpful. Room layout was very spacious with excellent amenities provided. Hotel is in a great location with easy access to tube stations and bus routes.

The room had no air conditioning for two & no exhaust fans therefore very humid in the room. The bathroom floor heat and heated towel rack did not operate. The phone to outside line was not functional either. Cleaning was offered every two days but the floor was not swept and coffee pods were not replaced. The building itself was not accessible at all so do NOT go to this hotel if accessibility is a requirement. That said, the front desk staff did accommodate requests and were pleasant.

The property was fine however, the air conditioning was noisy to the point we had to shut it off and open the windows instead. The pillows were thick and bulky and they had nothing smaller. Virtually unusable for sleep. Great for watching TV though.

We really wanted to like this property given its close location to the museums and metro. However, aside from the appliances being old and not working (in suite washer/dryer was broken, shower was clogged and flooding, downstairs dryers also all broken), the major issue we had was cleanliness. As I was sitting around late one night, there was a fist sized mouse running about that quickly scurried under the couch. I quickly sought help. Unfortunately, the front desk staff at night did not know what to do and after several requests for help, they finally offered to allow us to switch to another room. Not ideal in the middle of the night with mice running around, but better than sleeping with mice. After packing everything up and moving sleeping kids to the new room, we find that the new room has built in base heaters along the walls. The controls for the one in the bedroom was broken and was permanently set to high (the remaining ones in the sitting room were functional and could be turned off). After contacting the same night staff again multiple times, I finally had one staff member come up to the room to manually turn off the heater for us. Well, after adjusting it, the heater kept on going at full blast, but the staff then claimed that there was a 15 to 30 minute delay from adjusting the heater until when it shuts off. So I waited. It stayed on. The front desk then said they would get the day staff to work on it. They never did. We learned to sleep at 25 degrees Celsius

The staff was always so polite and helpful, the hotel looked impeccable and it was so easy to move around and to return to the hotel. We had a wonderful time in London and we’ll definitely come back to this hotel again!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped in the little kitchen area. The neighbourhood is beautiful to walk around. My room was around street level and it was a bit noisy outside in the evening, but thankfully the noise died down and it was fine for sleeping.

I would definitely stay again the only change I would make is that I would call ahead and ask not to be booked in LB. It's the basement of the hotel would have definitely preferred a room with a balcony.

My daughter and I just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel. Generally we were very happy with the stay. The room was larger than we expected with tall ceilings and nice cornice molding. The decor and furnishings were up to date and the hotel was nicely maintained. The location near Gloucester Tube Station was convenient and there was a Tesco and a Waitress very close to the station so we could replenish our groceries. The kitchenette in the room was well equipped. We ate breakfast there every morning so we could get an early start on our day. The maid service was excellent, coming to our room every second day. They were great with replenishing towels, bath mat, toiletries, tea, etc. The only negatives were I wish we had had a tub/shower combo instead of just the shower. Also the air conditioning could have been cooler and we discovered that it was apparently shut off every night but one night. So I would wake up in a sweat and discover that I had to press the red button to turn it on again. It was quite hot in London during most of our stay (30-32), so I wish the air-conditioning had been better, although I have had worse in Europe. The bed was okay. Again , I have had far worse in Europe (hard wooden platform with a thin mattress! I hate those!! We found the best, out of 5 European vacations to Europe, North American style pillow top mattresses in Bruges and Gent, Belgium ). Something to improve upon would be the pillows here. They were awful! Oops, out of space.

We enjoyed the property very much, but because of the 20foot ceiling in our suite, we found the room’s temperature quite cold. We spoke to the front desk about the heat, but found the room still quite chilly.

I wrote the Hotel twice before our arrival with a special request concerning our early arrival (we arrived from Canada at 7h10 am, and would have liked an early Check-in) but my emails remained unanswered!

I was disappointed able the bed. It was so hard in spots. I was only able to sleep on the right side. It felt like I was sleeping on a small double vs. being able to enjoy a king. It felt like two beds were put together with a poor mattress. Had poor night sleep. I enjoyed everything else about the property

Great Hotel in Kensington

I was very pleased with our stay at the Fraser Suites. Suite was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The room was very quiet— being on Cromwell Rd., a very busy road, was surprising but very welcome. The staff couldn’t have been nicer—so friendly and helpful. A bit of a downside was the breakfast, which could have had more variety, but the coffee was great!! The location was also good being a 2min.walk from Gloucester Road Station(Piccadilly, District and Circle Lines). Would definitely stay here again—highly recommended!

The staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location - a safe area, lots of restaurants within 3 minutes walk, very close to Gloucester Road subway station, and you can walk to Hyde Park. The rooms are attractive, but the beds could be more comfortable. Overall, we were happy with our stay here.
