Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Would have been nice if there was a counter in the bathroom when getting ready

Large apartment suite with kitchen. Very dated decor very much in need of improvement. Light fixtures looked like fire hazard. Elevator very slow and stairway covering badly worn. Invokes a hostel memory. Location is the key plus for the hotel.

Great location near everything.

Great location near everything. The room was OK but needs must improvement because very old. The check-in was very fast and the staff was very helpful with all the questions asked. The kitchen was very useful and clean.

Nothing like the pictures

The rooms are nothing like the advertised pictures. It’s just a run down studio apartment with an old washroom (tiles need replacement). Location is the best though with everything walkable and free tram service. Just don’t be enticed by the pictures.

Wonderful location. Hotel is old and could do with a spruce up in the rooms. The kitchen area - pots and pans dirty, silverware also needed to be clean. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would we stay again - not sure.

Amazing and spacious

This place was a great deal! Right in the heart of the CBD, it allowed walking or easy tram rides to the locations I wanted to get to. The apartment was huge and condition was quite good. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Melbourne experience

Our first time in Melbourne was enhanced by the fabulous location of this hotel in the heart of the the CBD. Coincidentally our stay coincided with White Night and the location could not have been better for this all night celebration. Being very central and close to the TRAM system made getting around the downtown core easy and enjoyable. The unique touches of converted garages to restaurants in the small lanes of the city added to experience and provided very affordable dining options close by. The room was spacious and made the stay very comfortable and relaxing. Also its central location made it easy to access periodically during the day for short breaks during a busy day of shopping or touring It also had all the necessary amenities (fridge, stove, dishwasher) to make the Adara Collins a perfect urban getaway destination. We wish we had known that a number of theatre options were so close at hand as we could have added a couple of more days to our stay. We would stay here again for our next Melbourne adventure. Nice play to stay

Great location, very professional and capable staff, affordable. Loved the kitchenette. Some updates might be required: broken screen, ripped easy chair, worn rug but overall it was a very good place to stay and we would recommend it.

Kitchenette was convenient for special food prep. Grocery stores close by. Desk clerks very helpful with all our questions. Excellent location for sightseeing. No view from the room since hotel was right downtown, felt a little claustrophobic at times.

There is no reception. They expect you to call a call centre to get an understanding of how to pick up keys. Your international phone roaming bill will cross few hundreds as the call centre wait os too long. Also the information you get from call centre is not 100% correct. It was a big struggle to find a room key to check in. It took 2 hours for me after tiring international flight

I was upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment from a studio for no extra charge. Lights and air conditioning were on for my arrival which I appreciated. The apartment was spacious and for the most part spotless. It had a great walk-in shower. The kitchen was a bonus and I was able to cook dinner on both evenings. The bed, whilst firm, was very comfortable and attractively made up. Towels and bathroom supplies were generous. It was exceptionally quiet at the hotel. The staff at reception were well organised and polite. Situated on Collins Street, it made for a wonderful stay. A few details could make the stay exceptional. These would include a spruce-up in the bathroom floor tiling and skirtings, a dishwasher in working order (in the apartment I was given), and new blinds on the large windows. A fly-screen on the openable sash window would also go well as would a clean-up on the window sill. The hotel offered a value-for-money stay in the overpriced city tariff market.

Location was amazing, so close to it all. Value for money was also wonderful. I needed a 2br apartment for my family of 4 that were going to be out and about, so somewhere just to sleep basically. This was perfect. Clean, neat and easily accessible. I do recommend.
