WORST HOTEL We Have Ever Stayed In

This hotel was simply terrible. Among the many problems were a smelly & mouldy washroom, ZERO Covid-19 precautions, no room cleaning, bedbugs, no toiletries and a huge old-fashioned key that we had to carry around town with us. When we complained to hotel staff, the response was .... nothing. Brasov is a beautiful town and absolutely worth visiting, as long as you don't stay at the Safrano Palace.

The staff were very helpful, especially because our flight was cancelled and instead of arriving at 7pm, we arrived at 3am. It was very special staying in such a nice place right by the main square. Very convenient for anything while visiting the area.

Great hotel with warm heart staff

This is the probably the best hotel I have ever stayed through Hotels.com booking site. The staff is very nice, very helpful, and i really enjoy my stay in this great hotel. The hotel is very clean with spacious separate family room. We were offered a room that is facing the main square by the general manager Mr. Ionut Macovei and reception clerk Mr. Adrian Albu. The general manager even help me to take my luggage to the third floor as there is no elevator in this 14/15 century building(the building itself is very nice too). The next day, car car is out of battery, the reception clerk Mr. Adrian Albu even go to extra mile and help us to re-charge our car with his friend help which really filled our hearts with tears, myself and my girl friend couldn't say more than just how thankful we feel with their great help. I will rate this hotel the best 5 star hotel i have ever stayed.

Great place to stay in the core of medieval Brasov. Tastefully renovated building with a lot of character. The staff - Andrei, Alexandru and Adrian - is very courteous and attentive, ready to make your stay confortable and give you directions to explore this beautiful, authentic city. Very good value for money, Safrano isthe ideal place to stay in Brasov. We will return for sure.

Great Location for The Main Sights

Perfectly located in the centre of the old town, with a great breakfast. Lacked a bar on site, but plenty of options nearby. Only negative was that the room was so hot, and there didn't seem to be any way of controlling it. My room looked out on to an inner courtyard so not a lot of natural light coming in. The front facing options perhaps better in this regard. Overall i would recommend.

The lady at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. The room needs repairs, the wall paper was peeling off and in general needs better cleaning. Strong snell to cigarretes in no smoking room. Good location.

This place is absolutely beautiful and is in a very lively part of town, which is part of its charm. The only real "issue" we had was that the water would go from freezing cold to scolding hot while you're in the shower and it got my back pretty good! Parking is about a 10 minute walk away in a place called the Prinz Gregor hotel and if you get the mountain view room (which faces the front of the hotel with a balcony) there can be a bit of noise since we were directly in front of the main town square but nothing too crazy if you keep the door closed. I recommend getting the breakfast as it's quite good and if you go down around 7:30 you'll be one of the, if not THE first people there. Overall, this place is great and the view from our place was beautiful!!

This hotel is ideally situated for the centre of Braşov old town and all its attractions. The hotel was clean and our room was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and varied but the hot food was only lukewarm and limited, an English breakfast tea would have been nice along with decaf options. The Wi-Fi did not work in the room which was disappointing, apparently a router was down and awaiting repair. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t want to put anyone off.

This hotel is perfectly located, however, it is very unsafe for seniors or people with any special needs as there are uneven stairs, and the rooms are not well appointed. The breakfast was OK and stuff were friendly enough, yet the property only really deserves a three star due to these concerns. Regarding the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect.
