Our apartment was very spacious,clean, had a beautiful view of the beach and was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay along with many thoughtful extras such as a cooler, reuse-able ice packs, picnic dishes and umbrellas ! We would definitely recommend this property!

Well equipped, kitchen includes everything for a good long stay. Excellent kitchen and laundry washing facilities in unit. Very beautiful apartments. Feels right at home. Ocean view from the apartment. Steps from the beach. Friendly staff and property manager. Definitely highly recommended for a family or couple stay.

Brad and Jo were very welcoming, fabulous to work with so knowledgeable about the area and what to do. Jo walked/showed us to our 2 bed/2 bath unit. Well equipped unit. Jo gave us suggestions for the 5 day stay. She recommended the Kuranda Skyrail, Magic Reef all day tour, drive to Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas and Daintree (Cape Tribulation was closed due to washed out roads) and beaches. She booked and reserved the tours for us. Nice Thai restaurants which are walkable. We had a car which was convenient for grocery shopping, tours etc. very nice area.

Roydon is a great place to stay, very clean and right at the beach. Bars and restaurants close by too. If Trinity Beach is where you want to be, stay at the Roydon.

The property is a bit older, but despite that, everything was very clean and well maintained. Our apartment had 2 spacious bedrooms with king sized, comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to make meals. Wi-fi was sometimes a little weak, although great from the balcony, that had a narrow view of the ocean. It was listed as a garden apartment, so the view was a nice surprize. A/C worked well and not noisy. Great water pressure. What more could you ask for? The only negative was the noisy birds one morning, which could happen anywhere. We'd definitely stay at the Roydon again.

Our stay at the Royden Beach Apartments was a great one. Rooms were excellent, very clean, close to beach as well as two pools to choose from. I would not hesitate to stay again. Great tour information from front desk. Tip * if you plan on visiting, book through website as you'll save 5%*

Before arrival, Bradley was very helpful providing info on Barrier Reef excursions. When we arrived after 7pm, it was still very hot and we had a bit of a wait to check in. Bradley provided excellent info on weather, wave forecasts for the Reef area and did our excursion booking for the next morning. He also helped carry up our luggage. The standard one bedroom was much larger than expected with 2 baths and large balcony. Unfortunately, it smelled a bit musty and was quite hot until the AC had been running for a while. The space was bright and the kitchen very well equipped; the furnishing and kitchen appliances were not as modern as some units we have stayed in. One evening, Bradley provided emergency first aid for a cut.

Loved it!

This hotel is right across from a white sand and warm water beach. It offers everything you heart desires if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. Almost every room has a view of the ocean, so you can sleep listening to the waves. Apts are secluded so it feels like you have the entire place to yourself. Apts were also spacious and could easily fit 4 people. Trinity beach has a small town feel, but yet all the conviniences that you will need, bank, markets and good restaurants. It is also only a bus ride away from Cairns or Palm Cove if you choose to visit. A quick drive will also take you to Karunda train station or a bit more than 1 hour up the cost to Port Douglas. Packages to see Karunda or the reef can be purchased at the hotel from the SUPER helpful Bradley who manages the property and will go out of his way to make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay at Roydon Beachfront

We loved the apartment! First, we were picked up by a free shuttle. When we arrived, the man at the front desk was very helpful by letting us know about the free wifi, booking tours, etc. We were upgraded to an ocean view room for free! The apartment was super clean, spacious, and had everything you need! The beach is right outside the apartment and the pool is also nice. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay on Trinity Beach. The location was wonderful. We were right across the street from the beach. There was a lovely walking path that you could take all along the beach. The facilities were very nice, clean and spacious. The pool was lovely and we liked the fact that there was a cover over the pool to reduce the sun exposure. Great place to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the water. There were all kinds of tours that the hotel staff could arrange for you. They really pay attention to the little detals that make your stay enjoyable.

Great room, great value

I couldn't have been happier with the accommodation - 50 metres from a stunning beach and very quiet as well. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and went out of his way to make me feel welcome and to help make my stay a pleasant one. The internet was provided for free with the room which in Australia is rare - also they have an office if you need to print out documents or if you don't have you own computer - again this is offered for free. The Trinity beach area is located about 20 minutes from Cairns CBD, but there are buses to take you there if you wish to go. There are plenty of things to do, most of which can be arranged right from the hotel, and all the information is available at the front desk. The room was huge, with kitchenette and two bathrooms, complete with washing machine and dryer, so it was a great value for the price.

Great location

If you are looking for a beach location that is not over-crowded, with acceptable bars and restarants nearby, this is a very nice place to stay. The apartment was first class. You can arrange tour pick-ups nearby.
