Lovely hotel, good service, nice pool. The only issue was the drinks prices on the top floor bar were too high - €13 for a beer.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Big room with big balcony overlooking the mediterranean. Regrettably now pillows on the chairs on the balcony. And by far the worst shower design we have ever seen

A really beautiful hotel. Very pleased with our stay. We were a little disappointed with the size of the pool, but that's really a minor issue. However, it appears that the cleaning people don't know how to properly clean the floor. In both of our rooms, a significant amount of dust was visible on the floor near the beds.

From the outside the Hotel looked very nice like 5* hotel should. However front desk service was poor, rooms were dirty and corridors dark. Definitely not a 5* level. Pool was also dirty and floors slippery. In a restaurant service was slow and we were like air to them. Food was also average. Breakfast was great!

Faded glory. The bathroom and the room smelled strongly of mould. Breakfast, nothing special, €20 per person. Bar on rooftop – small glass of Prosecco from an open bottle €21!!!! This place had once been wonderful but now it is not. Some of the staff were delightful, others brusque. Still charging for a standard no longer met. Fabulous views from pool and restaurant.

This is not a 5 star hotel. There was no heating in the room. The bathtub was broken. They came to fix it at midnight. The pipes make a lot of noise when other guests are taking a shower. The wifi was not working either. Only for one phone. The cleaning staff were super loud at 6 am We ate at the restaurant and the food was not very good. The hotel is very cute and has paid parking.

5 Sterne ist zuviel

Unter einem 5-Sterne Hotel verstehe ich selbst in Italien etwas anderes. 10 Min. Warten an der Rezeption bis die Dame endlich mit telefonieren fertig war, dann rasch eingecheckt worden. Gepäck selber auf das Zimmer gebracht. Im EG gibt es keine Bar oder Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. Die Bar im 5. Stock ist überteuert und lebt nur von der Aussicht. Neben der Bar befindet sich der Panoromapool, der so gut gechlort ist, dass man es noch in der Bar riecht. Die Zimmer waren soweit in Ordnung, aber wie gesagt, keine 5 Sterne. Der Seeblick ist unglaublich. Wichtig für Gäste die Arbeiten möchten, dass WLAN ist extrem langsam, Videocalls werden zur Geduldsprobe. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, es ist das Geld nicht wert. Man fühlt sich eher in einer gehobenen Touristenbude am Meer, als in einem 5 Sterne Grand Hotel. Dazu fehlt einfach das Gefühl, nur ein schönes altes Haus macht noch kein Grand Hotel

Übernachtung in historischem Palazzo

Das Gebäude selber ist toll und hat auf jeden Fall Charme. Wir erhielten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick im 2. Stock. Das Zimmer war ok, das Bad jedoch schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. 5 Sterne würde ich für das Zimmer nicht geben, da das Bad eine Erfrischung nötig hätte und die Tücher zum Teil am Zerfetzen waren... Aber man darf in Italien 5 Sterne nicht mit anderen Ländern vergleichen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war absolut ok. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir ohne gebucht haben.

El cuarto me encanto. No queria irme. La cama super comoda. El cuarto amplio , grande y muy acogedor. La vista increible. En el baño gay esquinas que se pyeden limpiar mejor. Es un hotel antiguo con buen mantenimiento. Hasta ahora el mejor cuarto de mi viaje pir Italia. Pidan el cuarto 336.

Not sure why there are recent negative reviews on this property. Yes, it’s a historical building from the Mussolini period but it’s been beautifully maintained and my room was recently refurbished and was clean and lovely and “new”

Avoid it it's dirty old and expensive.

200 euro per night it's a total scam. Every morning was walking up from the smell of the sewage that was coming from the corridor, plus for few hours there was a black out in many rooms. The hotel is very old. The restaurant is super expensive 1 cola -10 euro, water- 7 euro, plus 7 euro charges because you are sitting on a table, so almost 30 euro and you did not even start eating(they need to relax it's Livorno not Mykonos).

Not the same

This hotel was beautiful at one time. Now the building is in need of repair. There was no doorman when we arrived. I asked for a high room and was given the second floor out of 5. I think the Covid years took it's toll. I hope they can bring it back to it's better days.
