The place is very well located in dubrovnik, walking distance from all the main things. People were really nice it’s just too bad the a/c wasn’t working a d the bed was noisy and extremely uncomfortable.

A terrific location, just outside the Pile gate. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. While our unit was not large and lacked a balcony, the room was nice and had a window that opened to a lovely view of the fortress and sea.

Excellent place to stay right outside Pile Gate! This apartment has everything you need for your stay in Dubrovnik. Only 3 minutes from Pile Gates, it provides some quiet from the crowds inside the walls. Excellent communication, cleanliness and size. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was excellent. It is very close to the walls of Dubrovnik and the old city. There is also a very nice area for swimming right outside the place. It was nice to have a small kitchenette. They have hot water tanks for each room, so if you take a long shower, you may run out of hot water.

This apartment hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Dubrovnik. It is about a block away from the Pile Gate but also off the main street so you don't have to contend with crowds or noise outside your door. We took the bus from the ferry terminal and it dropped us off within a 3-minute walk to the hotel. The self-check-in instructions were very easy to follow. Our unit was on the top floor so there were a lot of narrow steep stairs (to be expected in Europe). There is a ground-floor unit if stairs aren't your thing. The unit was clean and the bathroom area appeared newly renovated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the implements you need to make a meal. There are a couple of small grocery stores about two blocks away. Many dining options are within a 2-minute walk. The room was a little smaller than what we had envisioned from the online pictures but we were comfortable in the space. Our unit had a Murphy bed which was fine for us but it wasn't as comfortable as a normal bed. You may want to request a unit without a Murphy bed if you are a sensitive sleeper. We didn't hear any noise from the street during the night. The AC worked well and there was always plenty of hot water. The reception ladies were really friendly and helpful. We used the hotel's transportation service to get to the airport and it was seamless and reasonably priced.

Wonderful apartment

wonderful location close to the Pile Gates as well beaches, and old fort. Wonderful modern accomodation and very clean. Grocery and bakery within walking distance right around the corner. Air conditioning and very quiet location for sleeping

Lovely mini apartments just outside the walls

Lovely mini apartments just outside the walls. Very clean and close to everything. Wonderful hosts that recommended fun local places to check out. Very close to one of the Game of Thrones locations (if you're into that sort of thing). I actually enjoyed staying outside the walls a lot more. Quiet, close to everything, especially the bus station.

Unforgettable Experience!

Fun experience staying in old town. The apartment is comfortable. The kitchen is very compact, but sufficient for breakfast and snacks. Love the views out of the windows! Cathedral stain glass and bells on one side. Another window has the view of a long narrow street leading to stairs going to another cathedral. It was so relaxing to have a light breeze drifting through sunny windows while listening to a classical guitarist playing below in the afternoon. Another fond memory for me is watching a brigade of workers efficiently remove rubbish with hand carts throughout the old town in early mornings. No wonder the town sparkles when people start streaming through the gates around 8:45!

great location but damp

The room was spacious and the facilities were great, including a kitchen and bathroom with a great layout. However, our ground floor room was damp and smelled a bit of mildew despite running the AC all night. I think a good cleaning of the air conditioner units and new air filters should fix this problem. We checked out early and initially had some disagreement with the staff who said their off-site manager wanted to charge us for the nights we were not staying for. It took a while to resolve this and we only paid for the nights we stayed. Anyway, just be aware that the manager is not readily available, and I was given the impression that the manager is not even in the country.

Great location just outside the Old City walls.

These appartments are about 100 meters from the airport bus drop off beside the old ciity walls. The location couldn't be better. The staff and room met all of our expectations and more for our 6 day stay. Boat rental, stoney beach, and beautiful view right outside the door. Our appt #3, has no ocean view, but also doesn't have any windows looking in so is very private. I wasn't sure what to expect when we booked Croatia, but I would recommend a visit there to anyone, and while the Miro isn't a Hilton hotel, it was ideal for us. I hope we can return again. PS the cruise ship crowds are crazy during the mid day in the old city, but are much thinner in the morning and later evening. We visited in early October and locals all said the best time to visit was Sept or Oct due to weather and crowds. Beware of tour operators giving misleading information.

beautiful apartment with an unbeatable location

We recently stayed in this beautiful apartment when visiting Dubrovnik. It is in a wonderful location - approximately 30 steps from the old town's main square - and overlooks a nice market in the mornings. The apartment was beautiful, modern and clean. It came with great amenities such as air-conditioning (which is not all that common in Croatia), a washing machine and fast WiFi. All linens and an ample number of towels were also provided and the kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of common space to relax in. The people who managed the property were extremely helpful and had no problem answering my many questions. They escort you right to the apartment as well, which is nice as the old town isn't that easy to navigate when you first arrive. There is also a place to store your baggage in case you arrive in town before check-in or leave after check-out, however, check-in and check-out times are also pretty flexible. The managers were also very helpful in recommending things to do and places to go while in Dubrovnik and provided maps and coupons for activities. They arranged for us a great day at sea as well which was extremely reasonable in price and a highlight of our trip. If I ever return to Dubrovnik I will definitely stay here again.

Miro Studio Apartments - Excellent stay

We stayed in the apartment for five nights and the apartment and service was excellent. The owner (Victor) was extremely helpful and gave us the best advice on MUST SEE locations and when to go to them in order to avoid crowds. The apartments are located about a two minute walk from the gate making it convenient and quiet. We had the best time and did not want to leave. I would highly recommend stating at this location if there are openings, you will not be disappointed.
