This property is a castle located on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley. It features a pool, hot tubs and sauna as well as a beautiful dining area. Despite being an old castle, there is a well functioning ventilation system that eliminates any musty or moldy smell one might expect. It is clean and in good repair but not at the expense of old world charm

Beautiful historic castle!

We loved the idea of staying in a castle and it did not disappoint! The castle was beautiful and the grounds well kept. We were also fortunate ebough to run into one of the staff, Alan, who was able to tell us the history of the castle and area. Super interesting! We also dined at the property and the food was delicious.

The Castle is gorgeous but make sure to arrive before dark as it's very difficult to find afterwards! When you arrive, follow the sign for "Residenza" - DO NOT follow the parking signs or you'll end up in the middle of nowhere wandering around in the dark as we did! Once we made it to the hotel, thato a very kind man who works in the restaurant, it was lovely, and the view when we woke up the next morning was spectacular!

majestic setting

Impeccable grounds, breathtaking views, majestic setting!. This castle is truly a gem. From the moment we arrived to the moment We had to drive away we loved our stay. It is cozy and comfortable and at the same time you absolutely feel as though you have stepped back in time. Exceptional. Staff were all very friendly and accomodating. We will absolutely stay here agaim.

A Great Stay with a superb view

I can not say enough good things about our recent stay. Firstly this really was a original estate, complete with stone walls, an enchanting courtyard and a superb view of the countryside and Perugia. The room was smallish but that was because we booked late. Other rooms were much larger. The food wonderful and the service at the front desk was personal and friendly. Wonderful memories. Only problem was that it was a mild adventure to find it, but I think that was the result of driving out of Perugia and the fact that Google directions deal with street names which are never posted in Italy and are only know by fifth generation locals.
