Great stay for the price

The reception was friendly and helpful about the stay. The room was big & clean, i could see a little bit of parthenon from the balcony which was a nice surprise. The area is not so attractive area and inconvenient for restaurant and shops, still walking distance to nice restaurant area. Great stay for the price.

Horrible.

Horrible hotel. Very bad service. Condition of the building very poor. The communication with the hotel from start was very unclear and inconsistent messages, arriving before 6:00 pm was considered late and was very difficult We were charged at check out 10 euros for 45 min late. After the crisis in tourism industry only the good ones will survive, this one won’t Do not even try this hotel.

So happy we found this!

Spent 4 nights! Clean, huge, 4 beds! washing machine, AC...hop on bus 1 min, 5 mins cab to Acropolis. Cheap taxi to Plaka/tourist shopping and restaurants. Or 12-15 mjn walk. 24 hour Bread factory bakery across street. Bathroom bigger than mine at home. Arrived at 2 a.m and had code to get in. Excellent communication before arrrived. Highly recommend, amazing for price we paid.

Take everything into consideration before booking

Our stay at connect apartment was hard to define. On one hand, the service was great once we got there and the room was nice, modern,clean and quite large. The bed was comfy however the bed cover was too warm and there were no sheets besides said cover. Tried to communicate via emails multiple times before the stay and got absolutely no reply, which caused unneeded stress. The area of Metaxhoughio is also a mixed bag. It's in the middle of a gentrification process so the brand new and hip stores and restaurants can be right next door to disgusting old places and homeless people entrenched on the sidewalks. The area is very noisy at all hours of the day or night, so if you are a light sleeper, do not come here. The location is right next to a metro station, which makes it very practical if you want to explore Athens. While Connect apartments is a nice value for the price, I would recommend splurging on something that is better located.

Perfect place to stay in Athens

Marie at reception was very helpful and accommodating. She helped us with getting a sim in Greece and connecting us with a taxi in Athens. The room was spacious, well furnished and in a great location next to the train station. The beds and pillows were comfortable and allowed for a great sleep. highly recommend this place.

This is a great place to stay, location is perfect and the room is clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was with the check in. We stayed here twice and the first time we had no response to my 3 emails about late check in instructions. Luckily we had my phone in service and called a few hours prior and got instructions. However we did not notice that the address on Expedia is for the office not the room location and there is similar lock boxes at the office so it all looks right. Thankfully the host answered their phone and was able to direct us to the right location down the street. Second time we had an email back from the host right away with directions and a link on google maps, if we had this to start it would be no issue. All in all we would recommend this hotel and stay here again, the host was very friendly.

Good stay

The room itself was really nice and we were provided with a view of the acropolis, free drinks, and a large room with two patios. The stay was overall nice. However the place is a bit confusing to find, and the room is even harder to find as it’s not exactly in the same building. Elevator is a bit old and spooky but an elevator none the less. There was tons of transportation near by, and if you stay here I recommend eating at Alexander the Great, the food was delicious and close to the hotel. :). Georgia was really sweet and funny and helped us check in efficiently and we were lucky enough to check in 2 hours early. Overall was a good experience

The apartment showed availability on Expedia Sat the last minute, so we booked. In reality, it wasn't available for all 5 days we booked it for. So, he apartment asked us via Expedia to cancel (at no cost) and rebook for the days room was available.We trusted their word and rebooked it. This was a BIG mistake as we were charged for cancelling with less than 24 hours notice. We spent hours on the phone with unhelpful Expedia agents (everyone had a different solution and excuse to not help) and with the apartment staff to get our refund. The apartment staff said they didn't THINK cancelling would be an issue, but iwas and in the end, it was our money so we were left to sort it out. The apartment promised some compensation for the frustration, but reneged on it. They said, "When you stay with us again, we will try and do something for you." They must be dreaming if they think we will ever return! Lastly, on the final day of our stay, the power went out which shut heating down in the middle of the night. We were freezing as the temperature outside was 4-5C. We contacted the management by what'sapp (there is no on-site management at night) who took two hours to respond and then finally said, since you are checking out, we will fix the issue after you leave! Overall, a horrible person experience.

Comfy stay

We had a great time. Our room was fantastic except there was no light in the kitchen area. I know they are doing some upgrades so I suspect this is why. Comfy bed, great shower, coffee and tea supplied. Area looks iffy but had no problem. Great staff. Would totally recommend it.

Wonderful Place and People

This was a very good place to stay Dana and George were very helpful.From arranging transportation, towels,water,directions,they went above the norm.If you are coming from the airport your Taxi rate should be a flat 38 eur's. They tried to tell us we were ( out of the zone) but they will still drive foe 38.The hop on and hop off is a great way to get around and they will give you cost breaks for students,family etc.Bread factory is great and so is Cyrano Cafe.

Eva was very helpful. She greeted me and recommended great spots to eat. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I suggest staying on the higher floors for larger balcony space!

Very clean, very new, lovely owner. About 10min walk from Old Athens. Hop On Hop Off bus stop 1 block away. Would stay again.
