Property located in quieter location from the busier resorts. Ideal for families with beach access across the street. Very clean comfortable suites with kitchen. Only concern was there was no AC in bedroom. We received excellent help from Rowena at Kahana Sands conscierge. She got us to the airport safely after road closures due to a huge fire on the highways. Thank you!

Spacious 2 bedrooms...the only thing I did not like was the master bedroom that they made it like loft looking down to the living area. If it's noisy down below, people won't be able to sleep at the bedroom because you can hear everything.

Kahana Villa Dissappointment

Have been to Maui the last 7yrs and stay in different resorts to try them out. Kahana Villa was the worsts resort I have ever been in and actually my first dissappointment in Maui. Everything was broken the shower doors,bedroom closet doors,tv,ceiling fans,light switch. To top it all off half way through are 2 week vacation they start jack hammering on the floor above us with no notice and nothing on the site before we booked saying there would be renos

This was one of the only place available at the time of booking. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The layout with the loft like master bedroom serves no purpose other than to transmit noise. The staff were nice and helpful. The building is very dated with recent refresh. Stains on upstairs carpet. Tub and showers old. Pool area nice. Nearby beach small and some rough characters often there esp at night.

Perfect for family trips

Great condo for a family trip to Maui. We enjoy staying in the Kahana area and the Kahana villas was a great option for my family and the grand parents. I would gladly go back. It gives you a self catered condo style vacation more than a resort experience, but that is what I like. This is my second time at a property managed by Soleil Management and I was just as impressed as the first time. They must have very high standards that are passed on through their staff who make sure your unit is well maintained and spotless. The Condo- Comfortable, and very clean Beds were great The kitchen was very well stocked A bit of an ocean view from the lawn to check the surf outside of the condo The Area- Kahana villas is across the street from a small beach and a great ‘intermediate’ level surf spot (depending on conditions). Within a short walk is a convenience store, liquor store, Miso Phat sushi restaurant (recommended by guy fierie on ddd, it was good), great coffee spot, McDonald’s and Maui brewing co restaurant. My favourite spot to stay on Maui as I tend to avoid overly busy resort areas and prefere a residential setting. Overall- would gladly go back.

Horrible staff and hours of operation

I would strongly not recommend staying here. Check in time is for 4 pm. We were travelling with a baby and were hoping to check in earlier. However, when we went in, the staff was not helpful at all and could not provide us with answers. We were directed to the registration office but they were closed even though we were well within their operation hours. Nobody picked up the phone number provided. Luckily, there was a nice lady who pointed out to us another resort office across the street to check in. I'm unsure why the staff could not provide us that information, but instead sent us on a wild goose chase. The staff had a terrible attitude. When we were finally able to check in several hours later, the room was not that impressive either. The staff was unable to provide us with very clear instructions to our room. Elevators are highly inaccessible. The bedroom is very hot and stuffy as there is only an air conditioning unit in the living room.

A nice quiet place to stay..........

We enjoyed our stay at Kahana Villas. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable beds. If we could have changed anything it would be the air conditioning. The window A/C unit was on the main floor, the bedrooms were on the second floor and they were hot at night. We really enjoyed how quiet this place was and how well equipped the kitchen was. We would stay there again and we would also recommend it to our family and friends.

Not my first choice to stay.

We arrived late. Were directed after running across road and back again to our room that was not ready?! At 11 pm we had to drag 2 children back to the phone to get another room. Checked with registration the next day and were told we had to change room again? Did not find clerk at the desk very helpful. No apology made for inconvenience. Too bad for us I guess.
