This has to be the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at! First let me tell you about the check in process. When I got to the hotel I was attended by the most arrogant and uneducated older lady at the check in counter. First she told me that I was in the wrong hotel, then after I confirmed on my Expedia app that I was in the right place, she told me that I did not have a reservation and insisted that she couldn’t find my name in the reservation list. I had to show her my app and kept on insisting that I had a reservation. After a long stressful wait she finally found my reservation under the name and confirmation number that I had given her when I first arrived. I reserved a suite with two queen beds and a queen pull out bed for myself and my family. When I made the reservations I have mentioned about the number of guests that would be staying at this suite for 4 nights. When I got to the room we had two bath towels, one face cloth and two hand towels to accommodate six people. The room smelled like a misture of cigarettes, mold and a dead skunk. The smell was awful !Full of spider webs & dust. Stained bedding and dirty covers, filthy microwave, broken outlets, wholes on the walls, broken floor, baseboards were rotten and broken. Cigarette buds all over the property, garbage overflowing & the hotel door looks were broken as well. I was blown away with the false advertisement. This place looks nothing like the advertised pictures on Expedia.

It looked like it has never been upgraded since built in the late sixties. The worst part was the heater didn't work despite freezing temps in Florida that night. The staff told me there was a problem with the heaters maintenance were working on but I don't think the heaters ever worked. We couldn't stay there and it seems like they haven't refunded me. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

This property is in horrible shape. Picture of the room I rented was fully renovated. What I received was horrible. Mattresses were old and not flat. The room was no renovated. Hot water did not work and wall plugs didn’t hold in a charger so I got a different room. Second room was almost the same. This place is run down and disgusting. I talked to front desk person and they say they have new investors and are renovating but I was there a week and didn’t see anything going on. It was too late to cancel and find new accommodations or I would have.

Considering there is a resort of 25 dollars to stay ($75 for my stay) I could not get an explanation as to what it was for other than wifi and parking. ! Parking lot was used by other vehicles not staying at hotel .. no visible parking permits in window. $25 dollar resort fee for 2 hot tubs that were not working and 8 tables around the pool of which had 3 umbrellas only and 2 were broken. I actually purchased my own umbrella so I could have shade from the sun during the day. Received email from the hotel about the restaurant and tiki bar being open Thursday yhru Sunday but was told quote “they won’t be opened everyone quit” I understand it’s a budget hotel but basic amenities and advertised amenities should be provided.

Our bathroom had mold, room stinks ,pillows were lousy. The bathroom fan made a terrible noice, bathroom door did not close. I guess you get what you get when you pay so little. The property could be so nice.

This was the worst motel experience I ever had. It took almost two hours to check in because there was a huge line and only 2 people working. Not sure why it took so long to make a payment and hand over a room card but it was way too long especially with an impatient five year old. After we checked in our card didn’t work not once but twice and eventually we were given a different room. The room was disgusting and musty. It smelled the minute you opened it and always felt damp. The tile floor was always damp and the furniture was all old and scratched up. They didn’t clean the room or give us new towels or toilet paper our whole stay. It was just bad and there was no place to charge my phone near my bed. The pool and hot tub were nice but there was no tiki bar or restaurant and I didn’t see a playground either. Also, my suv was damaged while parked near my room and someone scratched my windshield. I could also hear people lugging their suitcases down the steps and talking when we were trying to sleep. I would never stay here again.

Not the best for cleanliness. Rooms are very old and worn out in many areas, but the price was right. If we needed anything, the staff was helpful and friendly! They need more staff on front desk…check in was very slow! Two large pools are clean and warm, so we spent most days by or in the pool. Location is one of the best things The Seralago has going for it! We could walk to Old Town and lots of restaurants!

We loved Meyte on the front desk! Super helpful and professional and answered all our questions. Rizzo at the tikki pool bar was super friendly , funny, and made our stay. He had lots of local knowledge and waiting with a big smile and our favorite drink when we stopped by! Shout out to John and Solo we met there as well! Wonderful people! ... ok so next the hotel.... Pros.. wonderful location next to Old Town... walking distance to alot . Two pools which were well maintained with lots of seating. Coulda beniffited from more umbrellas Cons... first room we had was terrible.... dirty poor cleaning and smelled of smoke.... 2nd room was dated but acceptable... alot of tlc would make this place a desired option when visiting Old Town area...also dissapointed with the eating area... there is bassically nothing viable.. I would go back but my wife wont ! Note there are ongoing renovations so hopefully the cons wont be as bad in the future. Thank you Meyte and Risso!!!

While the property itself is a little rough and dated, I really appreciated the effort of the front desk staff (in particular Wanda) whom assisted me with some problems with my check in. She took the effort to call the booking expedia to make a correction. Otherwise I would not have been able to check in. I plan to clarify my issues with Expedia regarding this problem after I return home.

Only good item is the location of the property. Otherwise the doors didnt close tight enough that bugs could not entire. The phone didn't work because the power outlets didn't work. Very old beds & outdated bed linens. Insect infestation is unhygienic. I will never return nor recommend. Please do not bring your family!
