Start with the positives - the bedroom roomy and the bed oversized king and very comfortable. Windows closed the room was very quiet. The parking very secure needed card to get in and out. The pool was heated large and hot tub very nice. There is an IGA 5 minutes walk up the street and allow you to bring the trolley back to the hotel. Numerous cafes and restaurants all excellent quality we ate at them all - Chinese, italian, and subway. We had view of the river. The hostess - a Swedish lady was very welcoming and accommodating as were most of the service people and front desk.
The negatives - the resort has a habit of booking sports teams of all ages - we got stuck with 10-12 year olds three vans for a week which closes off the pool essentially for everyone else. Each week it was a different group - most loud and some unbearably rude. There is a steady stream of traffic and trains along a major highway just in front of the resort. What irked me most of all - we had stayed there 6 weeks. The day we left our flight was late afternoon and we requested from Luke a 1/2 hour extension to leave - so 10:30 instead of 10. They had a full house coming in that day, no doubt teams that virtually took over the resort. You would think that a quiet elderly couple who had stayed for 6 weeks would take priority over a group coming iin for 2 days. I pleaded - but no exception - I said it was going in my review - he responded - go ahead. The only hotel to ever refuse. Shame on you.
