I recently stayed at the Baker Street property for three nights and four days, and I must say it was a disappointing experience overall. Upon arrival, we were given a basement apartment with no air conditioning or fan. This posed a significant security threat, as keeping the windows open for fresh air and circulation was not an option. As a result, the room became unbearably hot, making it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.
To make matters worse, the customer service team was unhelpful when we voiced our concerns. Instead of addressing the issue promptly, they offered us a room at a different property located far away at an extra cost. This was completely unfair and inconvenient, as it would have meant sacrificing a good night's sleep for a room in a basement with no air circulation. The fact that they expected us to pay more for a better room is simply unacceptable.
Another aspect of our stay that left a lot to be desired was the housekeeping service. We requested a replacement for the bathroom amenities, but the staff flat-out refused, leaving us with only one small soap to share between two people for the entirety of our four-day stay. This lack of attention to basic necessities is highly disappointing and reflects poorly on the establishment.
Considering the multitude of issues we encountered during our time, we believe a full refund of all three nights is a fair and necessary compensation.
