The hotel sit at convenient location where shop stores and restaurants around. Room is clean and art displays show professional everywhere. However, parking is not easy as limited parking sport in two levels of parking garage.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at!

Modern and stylish decor and rooms. Very comfy and clean rooms with spotless housekeeping service. Generous amenities. The staff is very helpful, warm and welcoming. The area is full of great cafés and restaurants. Only 1 minutes from Toorak tram station, 5 minutes walking from South Yarra train station and about 15 minutes to the city.

A fabulous hotel with a great sense of fun.

I love this hotel and stayed extra days in Melbourne just to stay here longer. It's a great location, near superb shopping and within a short stroll of train and tram service to everywhere else. Or you can rent a bicycle or a SMART car. The hotel is immaculate and efficient with the best amenities I've ever seen, all done in a way that makes you smile. The employees make your day, too - very knowledgable and ready to assist. I loved the pool and restaurant, too. Whoever runs this hotel has a great sense of fun. I'll come back to Melbourne just to stay at The Olsen again.

A very good hotel

The hotel is about 5 minute walk from one of the main train stations in Melbourne. South Yarra is a very hip part of Melbourne but you will have to take a train (about 15 minutes) or trolley (about 30 minutes) to the city centre. Hotel staff were all very friendly. It is clearly very suitable for young people. There were also some families with youngish children. The restaurant on the main floor also offers quite nice food.

Very well designed studio room. Very quiet. Restaurant serves an awesome breakfast & coffee. Would like to see a dedicated elevator for the hotel staff. It could be a long wait when the housekeeping staff was going to their floors w/ the carts. More hooks & towel racks needed in the bathroom if you’re participating in the towel reuse program.

There was no parking available and if it was the car could not be moved once parked. The area does not have adequate parking upon arrival told car park is full find something yourself. Poor service hotel is tired and noisy as room was next to a sports field and residential apartments
