The Lugaris and the staff were excellent. The staff were friendly, informative and really cared about us as guests. The Lugaris is well situated in Barcelona, Poblenou is an excellent neighbourhood with lots to do, see and eat. We highly recommend this property and we will be back.

The property was great and ALL of the staff were excellent. Great mix of locals and tourists. The location was perfect! I would recommend this spot to anyone. It’s a 7-10min walk to the underground train station and about €2 a trip. It’s worth it to figure out the train because it’s so easy and really opens up Barcelona to you. It was wonderful to have our nice chill beach apartment to come home to after a tourist city day! One more time … the staff were amazing! Even mailed our postcards home for us. 11/10 service!

I do not recommend this property. The cons: the room was extremely unclean (dust and dirt everywhere), floors never washed, the amenities was sparse to non existent and the communication was poor with staff members. We were even told we had to bring our own toilet paper and bought our own bath soap. The dryer machine does not work AT ALL. And the room key is very challenging. After a really long day, we were locked out of our room and needed help getting in. We were not provided with any of our VIP perks nor upgrade or even a substitute for these items. The pros: excellent centralized location for beach and transit. The two ladies on staff are extremely helpful. No one else is. We asked for extra towels for example and received nothing. For the price we paid and the service we received not worth it. Which is a shame.

Great spot near the beach in El Poblenou

Great spot with amenities and beach by! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet at night. Pool was small but that’s okay. Perfect to dip in to cool off.

The room needs more towels and better quality of the towels, the service needs to improve more, we had problems with the check inn because they gave us the ley]]key and the door never works, the receptionist never came with us to show us the apart,ent because our plane was late and we came late. It took a more than half hour that someone came to fix the door and open it.

We stayed a month and liked the apartment and area. Our one bedroom was roomy with a big bathroom and ample kitchen area well equipped. The windows open full length ala french balconies, which isn't obvious from the pictures and was a nice surprise. The staff are helpful, though not doting (apartments, not a hotel). The neighbourhood is a charming warren of lane ways lined with orange trees and full of all sorts of little shops, eateries, and services. It's vibrate with the locals, not just swarmed with us tourists. The Rambla Poblenou is a short walk away, as is the beach. Busses stop out front and the metro is a ten minute walk away. Most of the city sights are inside thirty minutes by transit. We also did longer day trips by rail to Montserrat and Valencia (high speed rail for the latter). Don't rent a car unless you must. Be alert when walking as bikes and scooters are everywhere.
