Sad to say but we were quite disappointed with our stay here. The appartement was described as a two bedroom with a pullout couch suitable for 6 people and unfortunately it’s more of a one bedroom with a bed in the living room with a pullout couch separated by a paper wall. The pullout itself was super uncomfortable and very noisy, waking everyone as soon as someone moved on it. The apartment did not have sufficient supplies (soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc) so we constantly found ourselves going to reception asking for more. The staff was not the friendliest, the apartment was not super clean (lots of dust under the beds), the shower leaked and the management only offered a very small discount on one of the nights where we struggled with noise from construction. In a nutshell, the apartment was not as advertised and expensive for what it was. :(

great condo & location, not so great elevator

PROS: Excelente apartamento, el diseno es espectacular, muy bonito y moderno. Excelentemente ubicado en la Gran Via en Barcelona, muchas opciones de restaurantes, mercados, farmacias, estaciones de metro, buses, taxis, etc. CONS: el ascensor es muy lento y probablemente antiguo, y las esperas son largas. El dia de mi check-out tuve que bajar los 6 pisos por las escaleras con una maleta de 20+ kg y un carry-on en la otra mano, pues un grupo de una docena de turistas se tomaban demasiado tiempo bajando en ascensor. El check-in despues de las 5 pm es con una maquina en planta baja, no permite un duplicado de la llave sino hasta que abre recepcion a las 9 am el dia siguiente. La clave para entrar al edificio esa 1ra noche no funciono y debi esperar a que alguien entrara o saliera para poder ingresar.

Full sized apartment was great for our family. It's a very well run and well maintained hotel, with has good quality furnishings. Staff was pleasant and the check in after hours was easy. Something to consider is that it's an older building so you can hear the people upstairs and the sound of the elevator opening etc. Overall wonderful though.

We travelled as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens). We stayed at a one bedroom apartment. The kids loved their two twin beds that are separated by a Japanese looking sliding door. We have our own bedroom. There's a small dining table and living room. Room decor is clean and modern. We loved the balcony looking over the street. That is where I have my morning coffee. Bedroom and everything was great, clean and modern. There's a small kitchen with coffee maker, kettle, cutlery etc. We loved the location. We felt safe. The streets are fairly clean. There is locker storage on the main floor to store your luggage. There's an elevator but it is small. A few cons : street can be abit loud but the windows once closed dampen it. You can still hear it slightly so if you're sensitive to noise, highly recommend ear plugs. Half the wall plugs didn't work so I had to unplug the lamps to charge our devices. The room came with two toilet paper rolls and when we asked for more, we were told we will be charged for additional. When I booked the room I didn't see this being mentioned. Front desk did recommend that I can easily purchase extras at the nearby supermarket. Laundry machine was tricky to understand. Recommend googling manual in English. When checkout, you have to take the garbage out. Not a big deal just didn't see it being mentioned when I booked the room on Expedia. Overall, I would stay here again.

This is a good property for travelers with young children. The apartment suites are equipped with kitchenette and laundry which is a big plus. It’s relatively quiet. One thing to note is checkout was frustrating. There is one “old school” elevator in the property so we left ourselves plenty of time to do the same for checkout. The morning of checkout, we waited 20 minutes but the elevator would not stop for us. Eventually my husband had to carry the stroller and luggage down 3 flights of stairs while I waited with the kids. I was also not thrilled with the receptionist. When we arrived we noticed the towels in the bathroom appeared used. They were tossed over top of the towel dryer as though someone had used them. I asked the receptionist about this on our way out to explore the area. She was defensive, insisting that the rooms are all cleaned. I said “I’m sure they are but aren’t new towels normally folded?” To which she replied that they don’t fold towels at this hotel (LOL). I took her at her word but when my husband showered after our evening out, he saw hair products from the previous guests, so they did not clean. She was also difficult when we asked for a taxi. She told us it would take more than 20 minutes so we called our own. Lastly we found a passport outside and tried to report it to her, she asked me to take it to the police myself, directing me to a station “5 minutes away”. It was 30 min, and closed when we got there. Where’s the hospitality?

Our apartment was on the first floor and nice and quaint for our family of 4. There were security gates on all doors and windows and even had a walk out patio where we could sit and enjoy the cooler nights. The staff were very attentive and addressed all our needs quickly. We were lucky to be able to check in earlier as the room was ready before the check in time.
