Great location

Room was not has shown on the pictures. The new pictures are the new rooms that are not open yet. They still are under construction. The cleanliness of the room was not that good. We were there for 10 days and we had our room cleaned once. They forgot to come once. Curtains were dirty and the chairs in the room had some weird spots/ colors on it. The soundproofing of the room was not good. We heard all the neighbors and the construction. The lobby was great, the free coffee was great too. Really good location. You can walk pretty much everywhere from the hotel.

It was a safe area to stay in. The complimentary “made to order”coffee and fruit basket were a nice bonus. We stayed in a jr suite and one of the earlier comments made mention of strong smell in the hallway which is true if someone is cooking but it doesn't smell once you get into the room

The location was like the other London Citadines, very good. The apt. was a bit tatty and not well looked after. Would have liked a coffee maker and perhaps a knife sharpener or sharper cooking knives and a proper T Towel and kitchen wash cloth.

PROS: free coffee — pretty comfortable bed — fairly equipped kitchen — laundry room available (£5 to wash and £4 to dry)— good location. CONS: there is only room service once a week — staff is not super friendly/helpful — breakfast (questionable buffet) costs £12... grab your free coffee, cross the street and buy yourself a viennoiserie at Fabrique or go to Prêt or even McDonald's! — judging by the general look of our room, the rooms would need a little update: holes in the walls, mildew in the bathroom, etc. — the water pressure is horrible. Note that there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom. We also had a couple of issues such as: 1) the safe stopped working after a couple of days 2) the tissues weren't refilled when the maid came 3) we asked for face cloths and never got them 4) the maid threw away our hand soap without replacing it. But the main issue was the fridge. I guess we were just unlucky, but the fridge had a VERY bad smell (a mix of mildew and old cheese). We even lost many items of food (milk, fruits, soup and prepared meals) because they tasted bad or went bad. We mentionned it to the staff, but there was absolutely NO EMPATHY on their end and no offer to replace our food items whatsoever. This to me is very disappointing since we lost I would say at least £25 of food. For the price, the rooms certainly need some major updates or adjustments.
