Not a good experience

No one at the proterty to help. Ckeck-in is done online and it took multiple time before it accept the passport photo. Soneone triggered the fire alarm before midnight, but the property cannot do anything until the next morning!!! The alarm just ring for the whole night.

The staff were so helpful and kind. Great breakfast each day and in a very central location. When I go back to Porto I will definitely stay with them again.

Great Guesthouse

This is a guesthouse that consists of 3 levels and 7 units in total. It is a great alternative to a branded hotel. The location is within walking distance to all the main attractions. Breakfast is included and have plenty of selection.

Absolutely awesome B&B in a great location

We stayed at Cosme Guesthouse for 5 days in July. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and given a clear explanation of the city and points of interest, as well as several maps. We also were given recommendations for places to eat that were close by. The place itself is a lovely, very modern and well designed building. The rooms are so beautiful and welcoming - they have high ceilings, large windows, and a tiny compact bathroom that works perfectly. There is air conditioning too if the days are too hot. The breakfast was a basic buffet-style meal, with a great selection of baked goods and some fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff is so incredibly helpful and welcoming. It was my birthday while we were there, and I came home to a nice note and a red rose wishing me happy birthday. How thoughtful! The ONE thing that was a bit of a challenge: the floors/walls are slightly thin, and each suite has laminate hardwood. So you can hear heavy footsteps and thumps and bumps very loudly. If your neighbours are quiet, it shouldn't be a problem. But we had a child stay next to us, and the screaming and thumping and banging around kept us up one night late into the evening. But

Fantastic service, great place

George greeted us warmly with some port and a bunch of recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. Sergio and Bruno (really all of the other staff too) were warm and always willing to help or answer our questions. Rooms were quiet. Breakfast was great. Very nice boutique hotel. I highly recommend.

More than we expected

Very enjoyable stay. The service was great! Nice breakfast, rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The location suited our criteria: easy access to and from airport, train station, buses, metro and easy walk to historical area. We would come back.

Quatro óptimos dias no Porto

O check no foi um pouco atribulado mas o Sr. Filipe foi impecável e resolveu tudo de imediato. Agradecemos os mimos que nos ofereceu á chegada : o vinho e o chocolate. Cama confortável , Ficamos num quarto familiar com dois beliches e preferíamos ter ficafo num quarto de casal . Não tinha utensílio para a coleta diferenciada. É preciso subir várias escadas e é inviável para pessoas de mobilidade reduzida .

Des points d'amélioration

Emplacement super on peut aller partout à pied. En revanche l'experience du checking a été compliquée : mail non reçu donc appel a 21 h devant la porte pendant une heure pour faire des vérifications diverses et variées bien que tout avait été payé d'avance. Enfin l'appartement est très très humide humide attention si vous êtes fragile.

The worst experience we ever had. We stayed there 3 nights. The floor leans heavily toward one side: is like living in Pisa Tower. The stank coming out of the bathroom was permanent and we could not get rid off even if we left the fan running and the windows open permanently. After the 1st night our access code was canceled: I sent them several mails (no phone call was answered) requesting a new code: several persons answered, but they seemed all dops. Eventually after waiting in the middle of the night on the street more than one hour we obtained the access calling Expedia pretty quickly. We almost thought we where going to spend the whole night on the street: maybe a better choice after all to the sheet hole smell of that appartement. This was really wasting our money & getting a lot of bad energy.

Avoid this terrible apartment. Worst service ever

Terrible apartment. Terrible service. Check-iin was very difficult and the room was mis-described. We left and did not even stay. Several guests were complaining at the same time. There was no reception, it is being decorated. It is all remote from Spain. I am awaiting a refund. Worst experience ever on Hotels.com
