I really enjoyed this property. It was nice to be very close to the metro, and lots of restaurants near! The staff was lovely and even gave us a popsicle when we checked in. We used the laundry room and when we had questions we used the phone to call the front desk and they helped us. They were very friendly! Our room was also really nice and clean.

The hotel is well located and convenient. The staff is receptive and responsive. With the fluctuating temperatures, it took a little to adjust heat appropriately.

Paris stay

Positioned between Gare de Lyon and Gare de Nord, so as a transit stay worth considering. A bit away from tourists points of interest without use of metro. Places to eat and supply shopping nearby. A busy populated area. As a tourist something more central would be better

The elevator was out-of-order so walking up from the -4 parking garage was a bit of a hike. The room was clean and pleasant, with ample space in the fridge. Also, the most comfortable pillows in Europe.

Not all Citidines are alike!

This hotels is located in a nice neighborhood and pretty easy Metro connections. We have stayed at other Citidines in Paris. This one was a bit shabby and tired. Old appliances in the kitchen, cracked sink in the bathroom, and the shower sprayed all over the floor when showering. Beds were ok with good linens and pillows. We did not have the breakfast for 14 euros but had access to the coffee machine.

We find the completeness of the apartment very good. A disadvantage is that near the mirrors there is no socket for shaver or other personal toilet equipment.

Walking encouraged

Clean and well-equipped room, spacious foyer and reception. Kitchen equipment excellent. Close to Oberkampf metro for arrivals at Gare du Nord. Half an hour to walk to Place de Vosges and Pere Lachasie cemetery. Easy access to centre of city, left and right banks, for tjhsoe prepared to walk, wander and follow their noses.

Friendly & Helpful Staff

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff who are welcoming and informative. Room was a good size, lovely view. The only downside was the cleansiness of room was slightly lacking. Upon arrival the room had a stale smell which made the room feel unclean. It could have done with airing out and freshing up with a final sprucing around.
