Overall we would only give this property 3 stars. Service was good but food was only mediocre. Also resort was advertised as having four resturants but nowhere did it say the in the all inclusive package you were only allowed acess to one resturant without additional charge. Been to several all inclusive resorts in the past years and this was a first for us. Very disappointed in the false info.

The beach and ocean swimming was fabulous. We walked 50 minutes in one direction one day and 50 minutes in the other direction the next. It looks like we would still be able to walk 50 more. Staff is pleasant and helpful but English is just as limited as my Spanish.

They said the pop machines were always under maintenance. After 10 o’clock there is no food available unless you pay. The bathrooms were not clean. My only good comment is the food is pretty good and the bartenders are really nice.

It was not huge where you would get lost but it was a great place to find quiet if you wanted to relax and relief stress. The staff were nice to sea with and pleasant. Food selection was great but management needs to work on improving on their so called premium bar selection.

Great resort. However they should open the restaurants at 6PM like most other resorts. Instead they open at 7PM which is way too late for many people, including seniors and those with children. We sleep at 8PM every night and eating dinner at 7PM was hard. I have never seen a resort open for dinner at 7. It was shocking. Otherwise it is a beautiful resort, staff are nice, beach is great. The music at the pool is too loud however and we had to change our room twice as it was bothering us even with the windows closed. I would stay again in this resort if they dinner hours change to 6PM,

Look elsewhere, unless you’re on a tight budget.

The staff are wonderful but the hotel is old, dated, and not particularly clean. I stayed in two different rooms and both badly needed a proper renovation. This hotel is comparable to a Mexican or a Dominican 2.5 - 3 star, or a Cuban 3.5 star. The price is mostly fair for what it is, but don’t expect it to be the nicest place on earth. The air conditioning is poor, which makes the rooms musty and smelly. Very damp at all times. Special kudos to Jaimie, and Eric at the front desk - very helpful - and Adan at the lobby bar. These guys are very good at their jobs and deserve a raise and a promotion. The beach is well kept, unlike the pools. It is a family place with MANY kids. The food gets boring after two days, because it’s largely the same all the time. The wifi is good everywhere, including at the beach. The stray dogs are very cute and friendly, my girlfriend loved them.

A 3 Star pretending to be a 4 Star.

Stayed in a suite - the sofa was ripped and covered in stains. Disgusting. The property is dated and the rooms need a total upgrade. Shower leaked all over the floor. Only 1 type of beer - all the rest $4.50 - not cool. Food was good and abundant. Beach chairs all need to be thrown out. Good staff - friendly and efficient.

Amazing views and that's about it

We just got back from a week long vacation. There were some great positives but some things I just can't get over. First a shout out to some amazing bartenders: Cynthia and Felix. Cynthia was amazing and went far beyond in hospitality and I really liked seeing her everyday. Felix always get my drink full. The views the ocean awesome Great security, also lifeguards which I liked Negative: the birds in the buffett area. I read the reviews before and thought people were exaggerating. Nope a lot birds and bird poop. We actually had a hawk sweep down and steal my husband's lunch. The staff there are so busy trying to clear up the tables that service was horrible. There is no catering to their guests. The housecleaning were definitely hit and miss regarding are room, sometimes spectacular and other times a room was missed i.e. bathroom The lobby staff are also untrained that is my biggest complaint it felt like it was everyone's first day. Except for the two mentioned previously I felt we were inconveniencing them. It was disappointing and I could go on but instead I just won't give them my business. No more Sheraton for me.

Okay food, great facilities

The hotel has a great vibe. It's pretty, the rooms are excellent as are the staff. The food was just okay. Night entertainment only happened once in four nights even though it was listed on their daily activities. The birds at breakfast and lunch are a nuisance. I didn't like that you have to pay $25usd per person yo use the facilities if you arrive early. the fee applied even if you didn't want your room, but just to use the pool. The hotel is busy on weekends and quiet midweek. The beach is great for walking when the tide is low. It's not a swimmers beach. Overall, the food is 3 star, the resort is 4 star. The staff 5 star.

With only experience from resorts in Mexico, we were disappointed with having to pay for water in bottles and the room fridge was not stocked with water, drinks and beer. We also had a late arrival and no food was available, although they did send up sandwiches. Once we regrouped and adjusted to the new rules we had a great time at this resort. For the price we were very satisfied. I would point out that some where in hotel information or booking sites recommend the Rio Hato airport, 15 min away instead of the 2 hour drive from Panama airport.

nice hotel close to the beach.

After getting through the gated secure entrance we were welcomed graciously upon arrival. Our room was what we expected (very comfortable bed) and it was a lovely resort overall. the food was good, lots to choose from. The pools were very nice, well maintained. They were doing light maintenance and fresh coats of paint to much of the building while we were there. The beach is beautiful but rough waves and riptides for most of the time we were there. There are quaint places to visit within an hour driving distance and would recommend El Valle and Tortuga Restaurant and beach.

Great resort

Excellent food in all restaurants, drinks well prepared. The Piano event was superb, the Karaoke and the nightclub excellent. The beach and pools great. No complaints at all

The resort was a huge dusappointment.

The hotel is extremely understaffed and service is non-existent. The food buffets were very very slow at replenishing, if they were replenished at all. The food was consistently cold and getting a cup of coffee or refill was very hard to get. More staff and better food is definitely needed. The pools were closed for a half a day and I would question the cleanliness of them. The hallways were dirty and not cleaned on a daily basis. Our room had a burned out light bulb and only one bedside table. The hairdryer did not work and in 3 days the room was only made up once. Very poor value for your money.
