The Alcione Residence blew our expectations out of the water. From the immaculate room to the oversized and beautifully appointed bathroom to the breathtaking view from our large balcony, we were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The ladies at reception were cheerful, knowledgeable and ready to help at every turn. Excellent value overall. I would not hesitate to recommend---or return myself.

The view, the location, the room and the breakfast... did I mention the view. I choose this location after carefully reviewing higher priced hotels and villa locations. We were not disappointed! The staff was very helpful and we even changed some of our plans based upon their advice (loved Ravello). The room was comfortable, well equiped and quiet and full breakfast each day ordered just as we liked was a bonus.

Massive suite in the heart of Positano.

The annex building was a treat. Massive suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Super comfortable, fast wifi (70mbps+) and air conditioning in all bedrooms. There was also a massive terrace with dining tables and patio style furniture. The hotel staff were really helpful at recommending dining options. I would stay again in a heart beat.

excellent view of the sea. Every morning, we were served breakfast on the balcony and enjoyed the view. Both Margherita and Martina was amazing and communicated very quickly and efficiently. The hotel was very centrally located and about a 10 min. walk down to the beach. It was on a lively street with a number of restaurants and lounges.

Great location! We were so pleased with this hotel we could have stayed on the balcony all day. The view was incredible, rooms were clean and big. The bed and pillows were really comfy, the TV had English and italian channels and the breakfast was delicious. The staff is SO pleasant they were so welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Perfect location in Positano!

We stayed at Residence Alcione for 6 nights. It is in the perfect location as is just a minute walk to the stairs that bring you to the main shopping area/path that leads to the beach. It is also only a 3 minute walk up to the bus stop. Katia (who works the main reception area) is extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was brought to us every am and set up for us the the beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. This hotel is a few metres from Le Sirenuse famous hotel for just a fraction of the cost.Every room has an excellent view of the sea. We stayed in #3 which in the lowest level but still had a fabulous view and allowed us to people watch on the street below. I would definately recommend this to anyone that wants a budget friendly hotel!

Great location, gorgeous view from terrace

The location is fabulous, close to everything. Room was spacious and clean. The large terrace with dining area which overlooks the water and beautiful pastel-colored houses was definitely the highlight for us! The view was breathtaking!

Excellent view

We had a great stay...view of Positano and the sea is incredible. Staff where very friendly. Was nice having breakfast served on our balcony every morning. Location was great. If you arrive by ship use the Porter service to get your bags to the hotel. Only downside was no beer stocked in minivan. Highly recommended.

Convenient hotel with a beautiful view

Great view of Positano. Hotel is well furnished with daily life kitchenware and washing machine which was a plus. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful despite being quite busy. Breakfast was only fair and I find it strange that we need to pay for cheese and ham, the coffee was not very good too, so it was a bit waste of the great scenery. Spotted quite a bit of hair on the bed on the first night so cleaning needs improvement. Location is great and many tasty restaurants nearby. Overall a great stay.

Had a great stay, the staff was amazing. The views are just amazing!!! The hotel is also on the Main Street near everything that you may need. The Internet wasn't great though, but everything else was awesome!!

Beautiful Hotel with Amazing Views

We loved this hotel from top to bottom. The staff were incredibly helpful and were able to book us transports to Naples as well as get us reservations at any restaurant we asked. The hotel itself is extremely close to the pier and offers amazing views of the main port and village. The breakfast served on the balcony was first class and the best breakfast we had during our entire Italy trip. The rooms were massive and a nice change from the smaller rooms we stayed in in other places. Overall very happy with this place. The only downfall was a weird smell in the hallways and room that just wouldn't go away. Because everything else was so amazing it made it easy to handle. The bathrooms were also so clean and big. The rain shower was perfect!
