A stylish hotel in a great area if it is your first time in Barcelona. Within walking distance to major attractions and public transit. Just be aware that it can get loud - we were there when Spain won the World Cup and could not sleep that night! The hotel did provide us with earplugs but they did not help much.

This is a nice hotel, but not worth the price in my opinion. You’re paying for the location, but it’s noisy and busy and on the plaza.

The room was nice. I booked the room with a private terrace and pool. While the terrace and room were kept clean the pool was not. It had pigeon poo all over the bottom. Requested it to be cleaned twice but it was not. We did not use the pool at all. Also the room was right outside of a rooftop bar and bathrooms so keep in mind it can be very loud at night right outside of the door. Ear plugs were provided thankfully. There is also no railing or grip tape on the stairs to the pool making it dangerously slippery. My wife actually slipped down the stairs because of this. I’m sure the other rooms are fine but for the cost this room wasn’t worth it.

Really nice hotel! Very cute and funky lobby. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious (especially for Europe!). Rooftop area was a cool place to hang but pool is tiny. Would recommend.

It is a beautiful hotel. It was recently renovated keeping the beautiful historic characteristics. It is very clean, you are well cared for in every way. I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed before and after our cruise. The food, services and rooms were the best I’ve experienced. You are downtown in the heart of the city so good n bad but within the hotel and staff ensure your comfort and safety.

An absolute gem of a boutique hotel. The rooms, amenities and staff are all excellent. We recently stayed for 2 nights pre and post Mediterranean cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hotel DO Placa Reial. The staff reached out prior to our arrival to offer assistance with dinner reservations, tour excursions and airport transfer. They think of every detail. The breakfast, which is included is superb. The roof top terrace is a fun place for a before dinner drink. The hotel is centrally located which has both positive and negatives. Great to be close to many attractions, but also very busy and a bit of a worry with the pick pocket issues that are plaguing Barcelona.

Super well located, with an amazing room and even better bed. We loved the restaurant and food quality! They are under staffed though, I could never get more than one coffee at breakfast and the check in staff were short and rude. No one ever seemed to go the extra mile when it came to rooms.

Located in the heart of the Gothic District right on Las Ramblas and in Plaça Reial this small, privately run hotel is absolutely sumptuous in every way. Top to bottom this place is a feast for the eyes, from spectacular rooftop terrace to the domed and arched breakfast-resto underground and every unique, high ceilinged floor between. We were lucky enough to book room 47 with the private terrace and dunk pool. Family we were travelling with had "regular" rooms and they were just as unique and immersive. Don't hesitate, if there are rooms available here, take one... you will not be disappointed.
