Great Hotel for the Opera

We booked this hotel because we had tickets for the Opera, 10 minuets walk away. Its a great location with lost going on and quick access to the metro. Our room on the top floor had a small kitchen which was very useful since there are several small supermarkets all within 5 minuets walk. The hotel was comfortable, clean and very quiet. There is very secure underground carpark for a daily fee. However, if you join the hotel chain membership, the carpark fee is reduced.

Overall, it was a decent place to stay and we felt it was as advertised...mostly. We got lucky and stayed on the top floor which gave us a view of the top 1/3 of the eiffel tower. There was no deck, but it did look like the deck from the pics was available on about 10% of the rooms. Location was great with plenty of cafes, shops and metro lines nearby. Room needed maintenance, but was fairly clean and we did enjoy having the small kitchen.

was alright

We arrived at the right time, but because the room was not ready, we had to wait for more than an hour. As a result, it was still not ready after an hour, so we had to leave our luggage first. Feeling bad. But the room is very spacious, which is very satisfactory, and close to the subway.

Not what it used to be.

Not as good as other years. (I have been going there for 20 years Price went up, but services went down. Very dirty under the bed. 2 towels a week per person Plumbing is choked up. In the kitchen and bath room. Being on the first floor is quite noisy.. Marais neighborhood is still lovely, and there is a great street market on Th and Su. I have always been happy at Citadines, but…i I’ll think about going there for next year….

We had the best time! The hotel is located in the middle og Le Marais - which is the best area of Paris if you ask me. Metro right outside the door, and shopping and supermarkets within 7 minutes walking. Staff was SUPER friendly!!! Room was very big, with a large balcony, and was VERY quiet at night - so perfect for a good nights sleep. Will def recomend, and will def stay again! :o)

One of the Best place to stay in Paris!

The apartment hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, everything ull need are only few minutes walk away. Metro, bus, restaurant, parks…etc. the staffs are friendly and easy to talk with, thanks for the suite they offered us. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back in the near future!

This hotel is really close to a metro station as well as a lovely farmer's market on Sunday's which was a pleasant surprise. Very walkable area. They allowed us to check in early - we didn't even request this - when we came to drop off our bags. It was very clean and overall a great experience.

I come to Citadines every time I go to Paris. I particularly like The Marais area. The hotel is great. They are working on their AC system now which is fine since the weather is cool. I can’t say anything negative about the place! Prices of course always to up…

Good breakfast, large room, comfortable bed, helpful staff. AC was so-so. No housekeeping if you stay less than 1 week. However, we were comfortable and were able to get all around the city from the hotel relatively easily by transit or Taxi.

In general we ara satisfied with our stay. Receptionists were helpfull especially Asya. The sofa bed in the living room has to be fixed. The technician came but couldnt fix it. Having free and good coffee in the lobby is a very good service. There are 3-4 metro stations nearby and a bus station in front of the hotel. Also the hotel is very close to Place des Vosges and Marais.

1 of 2 elevators broken for 6 of 8 days. AC broken in 2 rooms, no maintenance visit after reporting, 1/2 roll bath tissue for a week stay-no supply. Very noisy neighborhood at night. Coffee in reception most always out of milk, not stocked regularly with tea. No welcome info of neighborhood, transit, building amenities & technology. Staff not experienced in restaurant museums or taxi reservations and passes. Great location! Easy to metro and food. Nice kitchen & balcony, comfy bed but plastic undersheet makes you sweat. $170/night with tax. Ok value, but I'd probably try to find something else for sure when weather is warm.

Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay in this property for 2 weeks. We had a very good size room with a small kitchen (cooktop, small oven/Microwave, dishwasher) AC, and most importantly a great balcony with a spectacular view. This location is close to restaurants, cafes, shops, metro, supermarkets, and a few museums. We had one a week cleaning services. Everything was what we had hoped for. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Second time I've been. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean and nice and in a great location in the Marais and central to pretty much everything in Paris and with great metro options nearby, staff are very friendly, rooms have decent little kitchens – which can be a lifesaver in Paris where the restaurant food is generally poor and overpriced unless you really know what you're doing, have made reservations and are willing to spend $$$$ – better to get great cheeses, wines, jams, baguettes etc and eat breakfast, lunch and/or dinner in the hotel. Only complain was that the elevators were broken-ish for the better part of the week making it a bit slow getting in and out of the room. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was incredibly helpful in getting us a cab on a couple of occasions. The breakfast was lacking in variety so we only took part one morning. There was a regular noise that sounded like someone moving chairs beside or above our room. But the location was great, easy to get to most places of interest but not in the middle of the busy traffic.

We had an amazing stay at Citadines Bastille Marais Paris! Staff- great! Friendly and Easy to communicate! Thank you, guys!!! Location- perfect! Everything very close-Metro, grocery stores. And Sunday market! Room -comfortable studio. Kitchen -tiny( by american standards) but has everything necessary for short stay. Spacious bathroom with working heating battery. Only single Con: shower head was old and poorly working But overall- We will be back!!!
