The location is excellent I really love this suites overall a great experience great staff great safe location the only thing I would said is the rooms are a little outdated and can use a renovation but other than that and excelente choice to stay I would definitely be back

The check in and check out was fast, but it would be an asset if the staff spoke a little more english. The air conditioning was great, the neighborhood seems very safe. But can be noisy when the nightlife starts. And the neighboring rooms were very noisy. Which made a few nights difficult to sleep. All in all for a few nights rest, it was very clean and well managed!

Quiet, newly renovated, great service

Nice newly renovated space with all the amenities. Friendly staff but you will need a translator sometimes if you don't speak Spanish (especially at night and on weekends). The doormen are awesome. Laundry is collected every weekday morning, housekeeping is great. The king size bed is 2 smaller beds put together but works well. Lighting in the bedroom is very nice for relaxing but not so good if you want to see. Plenty of plug ins with USB. The bathroom is a nice size and the shower is xtra big with very good pressure. The little restaurant has good food and service. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient location. Staff were friendly and tried to accommodate most requests. The internet signal is very weak. If your stay depends on consistent internet access it could be a problem. Also, it would be an added courtesy, if the front desk were bilingual. They did try their best to communicate through Google translate.

great place

the hotel was great! the location amazing! the staff super helpful I forgot my charger at the hotel and they were super efficient they found it and when I went to pick it up they had everything ready. Only advice wouls be to maybe renovate the bathrooms a little bit to fit more with the rest of the room in terms of design, but the rooms are pretty clean and comfortable!

A great place to stay

This was our second time staying here and we will stay here again in the future. The service was great and the rooms were clean.The hotel could use some handyman fix-ups; the carpet up the stairs needs replacing and little things need replacing/repaired in the rooms.The location is perfect for those who wish to do touristy things and there are fantastic restaurants up and down the street. Be aware of the street noise (choose a room facing the back if you are a light sleeper)

Hotel Suites del Angel; Mexico City

We stayed here on two separate occasions during our recent vacation (July 2011). ( 5 adults). The rooms facing the street are noisy due to traffic however had a small balcony to enjoy the street life. The rooms facing the back were much quieter. Perfect location close to many tourist sites and very near the tourist bus (Turibus) pick up location. Surrounded by many restaurants to fit any budget. The hotel personnel were very courteous and accomodated any need that we had. Unfortunately there was one major complaint which we have spoken to the hotel people about One of our party became ill and after asking, the hotel recommended a doctor. After speaking to the doctor in charge on the phone the initial cost of the visit was reasonable (but did not include medicine) After a prescription was written and a pill given the total cost escalated to 4 times the original cost because of the pill. Fortunately our Mexican connection knew we were being overcharged and we complained. We paid much less (lesson learned). We will definitely go back to this hotel

En general, tuve una experiencia agradable. La ubicación es inmejorable, a solo una calle del Ángel de la Independencia, lo que facilita moverse por la ciudad y disfrutar de los alrededores. Además, el acceso es muy conveniente, tanto para caminar como para usar transporte. El personal fue muy amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y asegurarse de que la estancia fuera cómoda. Sin duda, el servicio fue uno de los puntos más destacables. El único detalle a mejorar es que las habitaciones necesitan mantenimiento. Aunque son funcionales, se nota el desgaste en algunos aspectos, lo que podría mejorar la experiencia general del huésped. En resumen, es una buena opción si buscas ubicación privilegiada y buen servicio, con el área de oportunidad de mejorar el estado de las habitaciones.
