Tucked off a "close" in the back of Canongate Street, it is in a great quiet location, near many interesting sites and restaurants. The room was large and comfortable. We made good use of the kitchen.

Good location. I went to Edinburgh for the fringe festival and this property was in walking distance to all of the venues. They also provided a lot of items for breakfast which was a nice surprise.

Excellent location - 1 minute walk to Royal mile, grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping. Beds very comfortable, very clean studio apartment with small apartment size washing machine (very loud but convenient), Would stay here again! Staff very pleasant.

This place was great for what we wanted as it had more room than many hotels rooms and was like an apartment with kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Downsides was hotwater was tempid at best and the lift was a spaceship without a rocket.

Anniversary stay

Stayed here for 3 nights, its in the heart of the Royal Mile. Close to all amenities. The check-in was fast and friendly service. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My only concern is that it needs some kind of hand rail over the bath to enable you to get in and out of the shower with ease.

I spent two weeks seeing the Fringe here. It's about 10-15 minutes from the the heart of the action. That's bad (walks), good (walks!), and quiet. It's on a cool old street. I had a great time.

Very clean & quiet, stocked with some groceries (coffee/tea, milk, cereal, bread) & laundry detergent on arrival. Grocery store a few minutes walk away. Windows open only a few inches so with no air conditioning, we had to ask for fans.

The property is conveniently located one street back from the Royal Mile. It is one of the only apartments in Edinburgh with parking and a lift, which is handy if travelling with families. However, the wifi did not work the whole time (which was a common complaint on other reviews) and the floor was soooo noisy (squeaky - poorly laid) you couldn't walk around without waking up everyone in the flat

The room is good, as it has a kitchen for those who will use it. Close to the old town, in the lower part. One of the curtains is not blackout, so it gets too bright early.

Parking can be expensive

Very welcoming and helpful at check in. Spacious accommodation. Only downside was lack of car park space. Directed to nearby NCP and had to pay almost £25 for less than 24 hours parking. Other accommodations I’ve used provide discounted tickets for NCP if their own parking is full.

Property was nicely redone. However with a pull out sofa you need curtains bc it’s bright at 4am. Also, the doors don’t shut to the dining room which brings in more light from those windows. Hot and windows open creates a lot of foot traffic noise
