The check in and out were easy, it is usual in New Zealand that the check in time is between 9 and 6:30. But Quest has a system that is actually easy. The property is older, but inside the rooms are clean and nice. Within walking distance to a lot of attractions, very nice surrounding. Overall, a good place to be. This Quest location doesn't have washer/dryer in your suite.

A geat and convenient place.

This hotel in the heart of the city is wonderful to visit Wellington. Just a stone's throw from the parliament and a short hop to the cable car.

Nice Hotel Convenient to Downton

Lovely, clean, well provided and very convenient for exploring downtown Wellington. This is apartment style accommodation with a two element stovetop, fridge with freezer, dishwasher and a reasonable number of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Sitting area with TV, small dining table, and separate sleeping area with sliding doors to close it off. Great facility at a reasonable price.

Nice place

Very spacious, good location, small bed, did not replenish toiletries or clean towels. Over all nice place and reception was excellent- very friendly and efficient

High WiFI Charges

Hotel is a little tired (plaster falling off the wall, dirty carpet) but otherwise okay. Disappointed that there is no free Wi-Fi and the daily charges for it are high - this will stop me from staying there in the future. Good location.

Bad experience

First experience - staff member directed us incorrectly to the parking garage. Drove around the city, lost, for half an hour. Retuned to reception and a different staff member told us where the parking garage was - right across the street!!! The room was very old. Needs renovation. There was a portable fan and heater in the room - in 2015!!!! It was very noisy. The pictures on the website look nothing like the room we had. This is not more tha a 2 star hotel.

The hotel is very tired and in need of refreshment. It met a brief though, a place to sleep. The bed is old, and we were woken at 530am with singing from somewhere that echoed up the building from the outside. It’s an old quest, but suitable located to attend a Phoenix game or event at the cake tin. There is most definitely a more modern Quest just down the road.

Photos online are very deceiving. Apartment is worn and rough. Good location and friendly enough staff. Parking is inconvenient across the road and can only be paid for in 12hr segments. Chose to pay at the property then they tried to charge me the day before and still charge credit card fee. Overall, an average stay, fine for one night. There is 3 different ‘Quest’ hotels on the same block, be mindful which one you are booking.
