We have stayed at the Pinnacle several times - it's always lovely. This time however, we felt things slide unfortunately. We like to take advantage of the kitchen - but the kitchenware was not what it used to be. The fridge had not been cleaned either when we arrived. The constant construction noise is just grating, and the breathtaking views that once were....are gone with new construction.

Property is typically beautiful but the construction noise is quite disruptive. Construction goes Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. We just returned from a week vacation, the property always satisfies but the construction is overwhelming. However, anyone who is familiar with Old Town knows construction is inevitable.

This resort is located very close to many restaurants and pubs, all within walking distance. It is located on a hill, but there is a trolly that can take you up and down to the street where the majority of the restaurants are. The kitchen in the suites are fully equipped with anything you many need to prepare a meal or even a morning coffee. The pool is smaller but never seem to get that busy. Over all we would definitely stay here again.

The Pinnacle is a great property. Very modern, clean, close to everything and the people are very pleasant and friendly. Communication is something they need to work on . Last year I stayed at the property and when I called them they told me our condo would be 602, instead we were given 201 with no view. This year I did not bother calling and had a good view. However they wanted to charge me for a cab to the the property I did not arrange for when I arrived. I took my oen cab. Then when I left again they tried to charge me for the cab from the airport again which they told me would be fixed, it was not. Then when they went to inspect the property they made us wait 15minutes as there was a missing beach towel. Really? As we went to the Sapphire Beach Club, towels were provided and did need not them to go to the beach. I’m not sure if this is common in P.V. for people to want to charge you for services or things you have not received. Although the property is great and the people are pleasant, I would recommend that you take the manager to the condo upon arriving check doors windows furniture appliances and ensure everything works and be sure to count the dishes and glasses, and most importantly count the towels! Make sure you write it up and give the manager a copy and no time will be wasted upon you check out time.

Very noisy and no ocean view

I booked a suite with ocean view. First with a construction site in front of the balcony it was impossible to have a quiet moment to relax or rest before 6pm. Very expensive for a stressful week. Second, there was no ocean view as the view is blocked with the new building being constructed. Third, when I complained about the suite, the manager was too busy to talk to me and the staff was rude, I was told it was what I booked. I did not know that I booked for vacation by a construction site.

Ordinarily a superb place. However, I was very disappointed by the management team at Pinnacle. We had booked a 2-bed apartment with ocean views and hot-tub on the balcony. This was our second trip to the property, and we had loved our first visit 3 years ago. However, upon arrival, we found that a large development and construction project is taking place immediately beside Pinnacle 180. Our room effectively faced the project: it was noisy until very late hours and the balcony and hot-tub looked out onto the construction site and a tall crane. We had to fight hard to change to a less-desirable room, smaller and no hot-tub in Pinnacle 220. Beyond that moment, the management team did not contact us to offer up any apology, or offer anything to ease the inconvenience. The management team either does not care, or does not know how to properly manage the situation or customers, especially if they wish to see customers return or recommend their property. Expedia was equally useless!

Quite street.., for now

Great location short blocks from the beach and romantic zone provides excellent adult entertainment live music ,restaurants,art galleries and much more. We loved having the hot tub on balcony was wonderful. The kitchen is not stocked with any staples like paper towels, coffee filers it’s like walking into a show home. Only dishes and cutlery are available. The cleaning daily staff kept the place spotless. We never used the pool or the lobby lounge. It was always windy. A new condo is being built one block away and another across the street so there is construction noise during the working hours.

Great stay in 2 bedroom ocean view jucuzzi suite

Plenty of room for 2 couples staying in a 2 bedroom ocean view suite with hot tub on the patio. Room 302 had a modern decor with a large kitchen. Anything we needed was promptly addressed by the property management onsite. The location is within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. There is a lot of construction going on in the Romantic Zone where the hotel is located so Monday through Saturday during the day you do hear this sitting on the patio and it appeared to create a lot of dark dirt / dust that got on your feet. The Internet stopped working for brief periods a number of times throughout our stay which we never could determine the cause of. Even with these small issues we would return.

Great view, close to everything.

Overall everything was great. We had a slight delay getting into the room but the Manager explained why and kept us up to date. We stayed in PH1 with another couple for 2 nights. The PH was lovely with a hot tub on the deck. The kitchen was well equipped but we ate out as there are numerous great restaurants within walking distance. The stairs from the street to the hotel could be a challenge for some depending on your mobility however the funicular was always operational when we were there.

Impeccable Cosmo Condo in Heart of Romantic Zone

One of the best condo/hotels in Romantic Zone. Located at the upper part of the street of Púlpito, each suite of Pinnacle 180 is unique. The Andrew Christian Townhouse of Pinnacle 180 has a Jacuzzi on the balcony, facing north with fabulous views of the entire city of Puerto Vallarta, including the bay, the hills, and in evening, you can even see the sunset. The suite has an uber cosmopolitan feel -- it was almost like having my own condo transported to paradise, with all the comforts and luxuries of home - even Shaw satellite TV with Canadian programming made it feel like home. The fridge-filtered water and ice dispenser was great - didn't have to buy bottled water. Great exercise climbing those 110 stairs from "The Swedes" restaurant at 154 Púlpito all the way up to 180 Púlpito; but for those who are mobility-challenged, that could be major drawback, even with a small Funicular "lift" that runs from 10am - 10pm. Signature Lounge is a great bar on the main floor, with an infinity pool, and spectacular sunset views, which is what drew me to staying there. With 2 King beds, 2 full baths, over 1228 sq ft - a great place for entertaining up to 12 people comfortably. My only criticism - the BBQ on the balcony is very small, only 3 burners, approx 15000 BTU - could be a bit larger, especially for entertaining a larger group. Overall, my stay was amazing, and I would definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful, spacious and excellent location

We were in a 2 bedroom with ocean views and it was fantastic! Great area and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Happy hour at the small bar was a bonus:)! Pool is small but beautiful (afternoon sun only). All was better than expected!

Wonderful stay in the city

I got this room for my parents as a Christmas present. They loved the hotel and the view was spectacular! Great rooms, underground parking, and wonderful neighbourhood. The cable car to the beach was so cool!
