Great location to access the city and public transport. Good sized appartments. A bit dated, especially the bathrooms. Pool and spar were excellent. Lots of rubbish, alcohol cans, etc. left in the access laneways.

Great stay

My daughter and I stayed for 6 nights at The Astor Apartments. I had read very different reviews, a lot of them quite negative, so I was postively surprised. The apartment we got was very spacious and had all we needed - including a beautiful view of Brisbane from the 11th floor on the balcony of the apartment. The place was not the cleanest, but it was clean enough for us for the time we stayed. The pool on the 3rd floor was great☺️ We liked staying at the Astor apartments and would recommend to others - the location was really good too, we could walk to most things in town (even with my 6-year old).

Good location, clean and convenient. The booking in process was a complete mess it took 20 minutes to find and process our booking and at one stage it looked like there would be no room available Apparently Expedia didn't even communicate my name to the property.

The customer service was good. Polite. Couch was old and torn seating at the back. Rusty bathroom fittings. Needs spare pillows and a fold out sofa. We listed 5 people and only bedding for 4 so had to have 1 on the couch.

Apartment was clean and well maintained. Ensuite shower needed more pressure to be able to use installed showerhead and both showers could use better drainage. Parking had a sharp decline not suitable for low or long vehicles.

Hallway and lifts stink really bad. And air con in the rooms is very dodgy and doesn’t keep it cool. Over a 35 degree weekend this made being in the rooms very uncomfortable. We also booked for 3 people and paid an extra person fee to only be given 2 towels etc and left the share for the first night as we checked in late. We did manage to get some the second day.
