Our room was very spacious and kitchen was very well equipped. Loved our own "private onsen" in the room, we've used it every day. Only minor issue and delay in the check-in process once we were in the room as it was not able to confirm our identity and it was calling without any answer but it did work out in the end.

Room was spacious, very clean. The location was central to what we wanted to do (Shrines, Edo Wonderland, Ohya Quarry). The kitchennette was great. A very pleasant experience.

Very quiet apart hotel, little outside the centre. Easy to walk to train station, grocery and restaurants. Projector TV was a hit with the kids and we enjoyed the artificial hot spring tub.

Beautiful room

Rakuten Stay Nikko Hoden was a great hotel. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the private onsen and the kitchen was a great plus! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Nikko!

Excellent stay! We stayed for one night with 6 people. I should note that it is NOT a two bedroom, but there are two separate rooms. One room has 2 double beds that are basically touching, the other room is in the living room where you can roll out two double mats to sleep on the floor. The room does come with a 3L bottle/keg of beer. We had an excellent stay!

My family enjoyed our stay in the large, comfortable, extremely tidy and well fit-out property. Although on our arrival it was hard to walk to (with suitcases) from Tobu-Nikko, and very few buses. Access was much easier when we hired a car. Close to small convenience store and short drive to grocery store. Best was the artificial hot spring bath. Thank you for hosting this lovely property.

Room was great. Clean, full of quality amenities, comfortable bed, cool tech. Nice bath, free drinks in fridge, and tooth brushes, bathroom kits available in bathroom. Not the greatest location — but of a walk to town. Went in off-season (December) and it was hard to find food. The check-in process was confusing and a little annoying. You have to check in via a tablet in the room by filling out some fields, taking a photo, then verify your face on live video through a call centre.

Fantastic stay, tedious check-in

Super clean and very well furnished apartments, spacious and has everything you would need for your stay. Really enjoyed our stay here. However the automated check-in process is super cumbersome. You have to do a pre check-in, then upon arrival have to do another tedious process.
