Good apartment close to CBD

We have stayed with ACD before. This time we had a 3 bedroom apartment. The views were great from unit 501 but this specific unit is beginning to look worn and could use more kitchen supplies

Good location Close to the CBD

Located in the Docklands just outside the CBD. You can quickly get to the CBD on the City Circle free tram and other trams for free as long as you stay within the free tram zone. We rented a two bedroom unit which was perfect for our family. The unit and building you rent will vary. We stayed in the Nolan at 39 Caravel Lane. Our unit was in need of some upgrades as the dishwasher needed to be replaced but the ACD staff were very responsive to any issues we brought to their attention. If you're from North America there is a Costco in Docklands (you won't find many of these in Australia). It was a short walk to pick up some essentials. Just remember you need to carry what you buy back to the hotel unless you were adventurous enough to rent a car.

Location and views from our room were excellent. Huge potentail. However, all furniture was old, couches were covered with Blankets due to stains underneath. Air conditioner / heater did not work. Other heater placed in room was not working properly - noisy & unsafe. Silicon around windows was brittle and missing in places so air was coming through. Fridge was working but had shelves missing. Had a study nook with a tall mirror on stand - Stand was broken.

Broken appliances, carpet that has never been cleaned, bbq’s without gas, unsafe floor heaters with no safety protection, mouldy showers. Rude property manager that does not compensate poor stays. Definitely not 4.5 stars!

Property managers & staff were incredible, for my last min booking. Apartment view over Docklands was incredible an not what I expected. Only downside (coming from a cleaner myself) was door was tricky to lock and apartment could use a deep Clean just to removing the marks on walls from previous guests and little things that needed some attention BUT overall nice place, stunning view and incredible staff. Will defiantly be booking again. With gratitude Amy
