This was an adorable property right in the middle of Montepulciano. The location was fantastic. It’s a quaint property with lots of character. The rooftop patio has phenomenal views. My only negative is the door situation. The door to the unit was a challenge every time and the door to the building was horrible. If two gentleman on the street hadn’t helped us we wouldn’t have been able to get into the building. If the door situation was fixed I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views

The room was ok with amazing views. Also had access to a great roof top patio. No tv in the room. Shower not really functional. Had to climb 5 large stair cases with luggage. Will not work for anyone with mobility issues. No staff on site after hours. Good location but very very difficult to find. I would pass on the breakfast as they just send you to a nearby restaurant anyway so you might as well select your own place to eat.

Unique and charming stay!

This has been one of the best, unique stays in all my travels and that is saying a lot! Friendly hosts and very helpful. The place was covered in beautiful antiques, all tastefully placed. Great location and all very walkable. A bit of a treacherous drive but well worth it! Highly recommended!

An unexpected surprise.

When we arrived ,we discovered that the accomodation has new owners and they were not expecting us. The 2 sisters were wonderful hosts and accepted us into their home, which we had totally to ourselves being the only current guests. We felt at home and they were so helpful with making our stay such a pleasure.They offered a Hugh buffet breakfast of homemade and local items, had wine and other beverages for purchase, and even washed some of our clothes. Our private parking spot worked out great and the rooftop view and terrace were a great spot for an afternoon Brunello from a local winery. We had a fabulous experience in Montepulciano thanks to Ombretta , and Angela .

Very large apartment in the historic area

This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit.

We had a wonderful stay at Residenza Fabroni. The Red Suite, located on the top floor, had large panoramic windows on three sides, providing amazing views on the valley and town. The property felt well cared for and with a lot of character. Having breakfast at local cafes using our hotel vouchers was a nice touch. Natalia was very welcoming and helpful.

Perfect place for a 2 night stay in Montepulciano

The room has excellent views in a space that oozes character. The shared spaces and rooftop terrace were a very cool added bonus. We stayed in the blue suite and found it spacious and comfortable. The only slight issue was a faint odor coming from the second bedroom. We didn’t use that room and closing the door solved the problem for the rest of the suite, but it is worth noting. I know some people will complain that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, but frankly if this is an issue for you, you should probably just skip Montepulciano entirely seeing as the whole town is built into the hill, and practically everything is vertical. Overall, we had an excellent visit and both the hotel and Montepulciano as a whole were well worth it.
