The rooms were very clean Style eclectic but not functional Tild we had a kitchen with cookware. You'd think that would mean stove. The picture they sent had a stove but no we had no stove OR even cookware to use in the microwave. We tried to work with the site and gave them 4 or 5 options to help us out but basically they refused. No help for even simplest of things. And always reminding us they were here to help - but they did not. Won’t recommend - won’t be back. Such simple things could and should have been resolved or consideration of reimbursement at the least given the food that was wasted.

Check in process was a nightmare. Had to call multiple times re: door code room number. Very frustrating. Place was nice but walls are oaper thin and the people next to is were extremely loud. Good location

We really enjoyed our stay. We found it to be an excellent location, especially since it was so close to the Amtrak station. We also loved the ample natural light and the comfort. It was the only place on our tour (4 cities) that we wanted to (and did to a small degree) hang out in.

It's rare that our family of six finds accommodation that are not squishy - the Rambler was spacious. The suite and the pool were great. We could easily walk to the main downtown attractions, yet we were sufficiently on the outskirt for the place to be quiet. Moreover, the Rambler is within a block from some great museums, best Memphis BBQ, outdoor movies.

Great large apartment, loved the keyless entry. Could use a few more furnishings, like a proper wardrobe, more stuff for the kitchen, and blackout blinds (it was very bright as soon as the sun came up). Pool area was fab and location next to the National Civil Rights Museum was special and convenient to Beale Street (free streetcar!). Very easy (and free) street parking.

4.5 Stars, Would Return

Overall, staying at The Rambler was a pleasant experience. The (Housekeeping) Staff on-site provide amazing (customer) service. The location was nice, right across from the National Civil Rights Museum, and it suited our needs. The property itself is in decent condition and clean. There were a few minor issues. One, in some of the rooms the shower handle would fall off. Two, the walls can be a bit thin. I could hear everything next door was saying at times. Also, having a treadmill or weights in the basement would be nice. If I was in the area and needed a place to stay, I would have no qualms with staying at The Rambler again.

The Rambler is perfect for a weekend or longer term corporate apt. The remote staff were responsive and helpful. The local staff were also extremely accomodating.

Not Worth It

There is no front desk so it is all digital check in. They send you a link and tell you to use your phone number or confirmation number to fond your reservation. It didn't work and I had to message them. It looks like an abandoned building when you pull up and you enter through a side door into a unapealing hallway. The biggest letdown of the stay is the group of other guests that were staying there seemed to want to use the hallway as their party zone until 3am. This would not have happened in a hotel with staff on site that would be able to handle situations like that when brought to their attention. I notified the hotel through their messaging platform but nothing got done. I would never stay here again.

Cannot go wrong with this place!!

The Rambler is an excellent choice to stay. Close to Beale Street and most tourist attractions in the downtown area. The place was super clean, decor was superb and it had everything you needed to make your stay more enjoyable. Highly recommend it!
