The location is perfect if you want to get the true feel of a Madrilleno lifestyle. There are many food options and everything was within walking distance. The only drawback was on our last night, a Friday, the street was very busy and loud until 3/4 AM. Other than that, a perfect stay .

Excellent location, away from the hustle and noise but walkable to puerta del sol, plaza mayor & metros. Uber dropped us at the fromt of the property. There are restaurants, stores and small groceries nearby. Easy to communicate with the owner/s via whatsapp. I also like the push button access code to the apt, no worries with losing the house key! The neighborhood is safe. It was a comfortable stay and highly recommended.

Ideal location - walking distance to culture (museums), and nature (Retiro Park), amazing taverns and restaurants, and shopping too. Warm, friendly staff. Try the Casa San Juan (ground floor of the building) for Spanish food.

Great property and feels local (cause it isn't a traditional hotel). The staff is very available in an office on the first level and makes check-in very easy with providing code, etc. There is a lot of shopping and dining on the street and even more within walking distance. The property is hard to get to via car, but this can be considered a good thing!

Huertas is a full of life micro center. Lovely bars and restaurants in the same street. You can walk to almost everywhere from there also.
