Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Coronado Beach Resort. travelled with my wife and 3 kids aged 20,18 and 10. Close to lots of great eating experiences, beach and staff was most helpful and cheerful. thanks to Montana for a friendly check in. We would stay here again.

Another great stay!

Very comfortable for a family of 4. Excellent location. Although there is no pool, being able to use the facilities at Lowe's Resort made up for it. Short 3 minute walk to the beach.

Great location!

Very large, comfortable suite. Long drive to Loew's Resort to use their pool/spa facilities. Construction going on in lobby at the time of our stay. Very convenient to have a fully stocked kitchen, saved $$. Literally a 2 minute walk, through the pathways of Hotel del Coronado to the most beautiful, immaculate sandy beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Coronado Beach Resort

Everyone from the front counter staff, housekeeping and maintenance were excellent. We had one very minor problem with a drain plug in bathtub and maintenance repaired it in a very timely matter. Location of the resort is just perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to the the beach and downtown Coronado. Public transport into San Diego is right outside the front door. You couldn't ask for anything better.

Good place for kids, great location, BUT

We just finished a 5 night stay at this hotel. 1. First of all great location and family friendly, very close to beach, restaurant and grocery stores 2. Clean rooms, coffee, tea, and snacks available 3. There is a $15/day for internet and parking 4. You need to ask for room cleaning 5. Two bed rooms means a master bedroom with door and the second bedroom with a curtain, two single beds for kids We would return, however, we were asked to move rooms during the middle of our stay (there was construction scheduled). This was a bit of a fiasco, as we were traveling with a baby. We were ready to move, then told to wait, and within an hour asked to move. So we packed, unpacked and moved. Then only to find out the room we were asked to move into had problems and then moved again. We also had to go to the front desk and ask for help. This soured an otherwise good stay and great trip.

Nice Location But No Housekeeping

This hotel was nice. I was attending a conference at the Del and it was right next door, which was great. It was clean when I got there and my room was a good size. Plus, the staff at this hotel were super super helpful. Shout out to Monica and Erick who were both great. The main issue I had with this hotel is that there was no housekeeping. No one came to clean my room the entire 3 days I was there. I guess that keeps costs down? But it was weird and I didn't get any heads up from the hotel (or Hotels.com) that this was a housekeeping-free hotel.

Very nice setup and location. Would normally rate this very high. However, the kitchen and bathroom floor were sticky. The kitchen cabinets and doors were sticky. Just gave you a bad feeling regarding cleanliness Also was allot of planes and helicopters from the airbase, relatively noisy. But that really can’t be solved by the hotel.
