Great location, good hotel, special times.

Everything was as good as can with covid19 going around. Breakfast was in another hotel and it was a bit crowded taking account that we have a virus at large. Also parking space was full even tho I asked before hand and the place they advised was 1/3 more expensive than they said it would be. On plus side we got a tip to park our car for free on Saturday after 17:00, near the river.

Sijainti Riikassa liikkumisen osalta mainio! Autoilijalle ikävä yllätys oli, ettei hotellin sivuilla mainittuja vuorokausipysäköintipaikkoja ollut enää saatavilla, vaikka parkkialueilla oli tilaa. Huoneessa oli kaikki tarvittava. Parisängyn yhteinen tuplaleveä peitto oli yllätys.

Great place right in old Riga, booked the last room available an hour before arriving . When we arrived we got upgraded to the lux suite. Awesome high ceilings, pictures don’t do it justice. Dark carpets add a little more heaviness to the feel, but high ceilings definitely add air to the space. Comfortable bad, rather softer mattress. I would definitely return next time passing by Riga . The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or parking, so we walked across the street to get breakfast. Parked in paid parking 15 min walk to the river.

Book heller Rixwell old Riga palace hotel

Nedtur av et hotell. Vi tenkte vi oppgraderte fra forrige opphold da vi bodde på Rixwell old Riga palace hotel. Book heller det enn dette! Skikkelig stusselig rom med en taklampe som bråka og kjip seng. Svært rom uten andre møbler enn senga. Rommet vendte også ut mot bråkete gate, og det var lydt både mot gata og de andre rommene.

Rimelig hotell med veldig fin beliggenhet i gamlebyen. Utenom det: Ekstrem dårlig lydisolerte vinduer og veldig mye støy fra utestedene rett utenfor som stenger kl 9 på morgenen. Elendig frokost. Bruk pengene på et annet hotell

Just okay...

The room didn’t feel that clean. There was an open bag of ear plugs on the nightstand at the side of the bed. Also I was facing the street so the noise from the bar across the street didn’t let me sleep. It was fine for the one night I was there though.

Couple nights in Riga

Basic good hotel. Little noisy at the evening, but the nights were ok. Some walking noise come from surrounding rooms, but nothing major. Inside old town, and close to tram/bus stops. Very good location.

No lo recomiendo. Nada más llegar a la habitación y ver unos tapones para los oídos como amenities lo dice todo. El hotel se encuentra en una zona de bastante marcha y justo debajo hay un pub. Pasamos dos noches horribles debido a que nuestra habitación era justo la de arriba del pub, despertando continuamente a causa del volumen de la música y del ruído de las máquinas del bar. Solicitamos el cambio de habitación pero en recepción nos dijeron que no era posible. Por si a alguien le sirve de ayuda, nuestro número de habitación era el 201. En cuanto al desayuno, muy poco variado.

There was a little delay in check in but the receptionist (Ilonora) was very polite and apologetic. Later on, she sent us a complementary Champaign bottle, which was very kind. Also, a great location at the heart of old town & all amenities. Thank you

Too many pubs located near the hotel

Hotel is near to pubs area, noisy throughout the night. Can’t have good sleep although location is good. Lots of restaurants around the hotel.
