Great view overlooking the Arno

Everything was beyond expectation. The Hamm suite overlooking the Arno with the windows open offerered incredible views as well as the sounds of Florence (perhaps lasting a little too long into the morning at times....4am....then you may want to close the window) The several terrace options for dining were peaceful and the food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay can't wait to go back

We had a fabulous stay at the Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni. The hotel was beautiful maintained, on a great street close to the all the designer shopping (if that's your thing). Our room overlooked the river. When we checked in, one of the staff personally took us around to see the facilities and to the roof top deck (the best part of the hotel). We wished we could have stayed longer, but will definitely be back.

Ideal location close to everything

The hotel was great and the staff were very polite and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would recommend it anyone. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and the views from the rooftop balconies both day and night was incredible. We would stay here again no questions asked..

Best view in Florence!

We stayed here for 5 nights in June and this hotel was absolutely the best part of our experience in Florence. The rooftop terraces (one facing north and one facing south over the river) provide gorgeous views over all of the city and the surrounding hills. There is comfortable seating, an honour bar, a bartender prior to dinner and a complimentary breakfast buffet served here. It is a delightful space to start the day, rest during the afternoon or view the sunsets. Our room was exquisite, with designer wallpaper, wonderful beds, a luxurious and beautiful marble bathroom and a fantastic view overlooking the river. Breakfast was very good, the staff very professional and the location is ideal for walking to all the major sights. I suspect that when all the renovations are complete, this hotel rating will be upgraded, and it will be more expensive. It is a gem!

The terrace made our vacation

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The terrace view is exceptional, and sitting up there with a glass of wine after a day of sight seeing was the best way to end a fabulous day. Our room was spotless, the beds firm but comfortable, and the breakfast very satisfying. All of the staff were friendly. Great neighborhood. I would highly reccommend this hotel.

I would stay nowhere else when back in Florence!!! And would pray to get my beyond beautiful room overlooking the Arno once again. I was granted an upgrade without even asking. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The service is OUTSTANDING, including room service and breakfast (which is extremely generous and delicious and offers amazing views) and also concierge. Location is unbeatable: on the river, on one of the mist lovely piazzas in Florence and Via Tornabuoni is by any account the mist elegant shopping street in the world. Plus you are no more than a 10’ walk from all manor sights. But what makes Antiche Torre unique is it’s style and understated Florentine elegance. The decor is traditional but light, flawlessly tasteful and imaginative. A welcome break from all the loud, statement/branding the hotel industry offers these days. This place is discreet, romantic and LOVELIEST! Tantissime grazie!

Wow, what an awesome and authentic experience. The hotel Antica Torre Di via Tornabuoni 1 was the most romantic and relaxing stay of our holiday. From the initial booking to the hotel stay it was perfect. The rooftop terrace and the wonderful staff serving, the hotel advice re restaurant bookings and things to see was outstanding and delivered in such a friendly manner. First class accommodation right along the Arno with panaramic sunset views of the river, the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Etc. from the roof top bar with first rate wait staff. We will return again next time we are in Firenze.
