Great location and ideal facilities

Very good location, on edge of town and at foot of mountain. Free shuttle buses can take you anywhere locally. Great to have your own kitchen and sitting room. Ideal for the three day mini-break where we wanted to relax and explore the town of Breckenridge and the nearby area.

Mountain Thunder Lodge - Breckenridge is excellent

The one bedroom suite was a good size, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The shuttle service was a real boon. The lodge strives to exceed expectations and they certainly succeeded for our visit in December 2011.

There's No Thunder here!

NO idea how this hotel rates so high on Trip Advisor - rooms are totally outdated, hot tub is a cesspool and there is no restaurant. You can get a coffee from the front desk with powdered creamer. I would not stay here again. Mind you the location is great.

Beware of altitude of Breckenridge

As the accomodation in located on very high altitude, they could could have warned us about altitude sickness. We checked in with our son very sick, showing all the symptoms of altitude sickness and told them about it. We didn’t know. Next day had to call in a doctor who diagnosed him with this. Had to leave straight away to lower altitude so spent only one night there.

Los condos están bien equipados. Tiene transporte con shuttle incluido. Se puede llegar de la montaña esquiando, lo que es muy conveniente. Parqueo bajo techo ( muy conveniente) y locker para esquís. Personal muy amable!!! A pesar de tener otros jacuzzis, el que teníamos en el edificio no estaba funcionando, lo que fue algo negativo pues nos gusta en invierno hacer esto. En general muy buena experiencia!

This was a great place to stay for skiing. A short walk got the free gondola, you can ski right to the back door, and the rooms were MUCH larger than we expected. We were also a block away from Main Street which had great shops, restaurants, and bars. Highly recommend.
