We had stayed here in the past and it was very nic

We were very disappointed with the room that was available. It was ocean front but very small and dark with no balcony. We did not stay at Peppertree but the hotel staff were extremely helpful finding us another place to stay in the area. They offered us a full refund. We booked at peppertree through Hotels.com and the price was double of what we found on our own for a nicer place. What does this mean?

Affordable, decent place in quiet neighbourhood

The Peppertree was perfect for our stay as a group of young people on vacation. The room was a bit crowded and small, but it was fine since we spent most of our time on the beach or downtown. I enjoyed the towel exchange service because you could get dry towels when you needed them. The pool and hot tub area was really nice although the pools weren't heated, so you couldn't really swim in them in April. Nice quiet beach area.

Comfortable

Small but comfy room. Missed having a closet in the bedroom. Price was reasonable and suited what you got. Great view of the Ocean. All utensils needed were available. A heated pool outside and updated TV's would have enhanced our stay.

Going to North Myrtle Beach, not to the Peppertree

The cleanliness of the room wasn't the fault, however the property was shabby at best. Upon investigation with surrounding properties, we paid FAR too much for what was offered. I gather this is an owner/rent facility, if this is the case the owners should be dully ashamed of their business model and Expedia should be embarrassed of their affiliation with this property. There is absolutely no way we would recommend this facility. During our stay my wife took advantage of the aqua-cize activity offered... she reported back that the local ladies in the programme were well aware of the reputation of the property and they would never recommend it to their friends. If you don't impress the locals, you are missing an opportunity.

Good for couples.

Staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was what I expected it to be. Only thing I didn’t like was the cigarette smoking from other rooms. As a non-smoker it smelled disgusting and made me want to stay out all day so I won’t have to smell that but with all being said, I’d come back again for sure! Lots of food options. Must try BIRRIA tacos from around the area!!!

Horrific.

The bed was stained light brown. I had to wait until the next day to have new sheets and blankets. There was dirt on the bed. I didn’t have a single hot shower the entire stay. The phone didn’t work to call the front desk. I’ll never stay there again.

Myrtle Beach mini vacation

Hotel was in a great location but the hotel condition wasn’t great. Toilet would not flush. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. It’s an older hotel which needed lots of updating. Pint was chipping everywhere. The only plus is the location was beach front.

The room was in desperate need of updating. The curtains were ripped, the couch was very old, the stove/oven were not in good condition, and I was very disappointed that there was no balcony. I had called specifically to ask if my room would have a balcony and was told that it would.

Hot tubs were dirty and the hot water doesn’t work well unless you turn all the faucets on and run them for about 15 minutes or so. There was broken glass in the bedroom carpet, I found it before we took our shoes off luckily. Our stay was quiet, other than some early morning road work that is uncontrollable understandably. Kitchen was clean.

Little Getaway for some R&R

Nice in North Myrtle Beach

The property is not the newest on the strip but the view was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I went on a solo trip just to get away and decompress. I could walk to the beach whenever I wanted and the bed and sofa were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I were in North Myrtle Beach.
