Motel Reception area is filthy & manager is unkept. Manager friendly enough to sort any problems but it wasn't an enjoyable experience overall.

Man running the place is so lovely. Its just a shame that the place is run down and dirty. Our dishes were dirty and we had to clean them before using them. Lots of broken tbings in our room, leaking fridge and sink. I understand its a cheap place to stay but it should be clean

Unit 8 is small for 4 people it smells no place to dine, table had the TV on it. The unit was old and very tired, bathroom very tiny and old with an intense very unpleasant smell. Beds were extremely soft. Heating was a small wall heater that had all the TV box and cords in front of it so unsafe to use.

Very small, very dated, we got what we paid for! Lack of power points, heater kept tripping off, unkempt lawns, no space in bathroom, but bed was comfy, shower was good. Not in a hurry to revisit!

The Owner was very obliging, as due to CHC being booked out & a midnight flight arrival, we knew if would be a 3am arrival. He kindly left the unit unlocked for us. While the place is showing it's age & use, it was clean & tidy, the shower was great, the sheets were clean & the beds comfy. We slept well. Would I use Larchwood Motels again? Without hesitation. It's value for money indeed. I have to say, I enjoyed teh chat with the owner teh next morning. A cheerful & kind man.
