Overall good hotel

My first time in this hotel. Very helpful and respectful staff. Breakfast was included in my booking and was very good. Room was big and clean. Large tv with many apps. Lots of malls nearby. My only issue was drain in the bathroom was clogged.

I stay at Astoria every time I travel to Philippines, staff are friendly, seamless check ins and out. The buffet is a little pricey but the property is walking distance to malls and lots of food choices in the neighbourhood. Rooms has kitchen complete of kitchen supplies and a living room to hang out with guests.

We had a 2-bedroom unit and we were given a corner unit on a high floor. Views were amazing! I could see both airplanes and trains from the window. The suite was spacious and clean. Beds ok, not the comfiest. Water in the sink and bathtub drained slow. There was some mold in the bathroom. Kitchen was basic. There was no dishwashing soap or sponge provided for washing. Staff were friendly and attentive especially bell service. There was an issue checking-in. Although I booked late, I expected the room to be readily available since it was almost midnight when I came. The front office staff said he was working on it. I’m not sure exactly what it meant but I did get my room eventually. The next day, I asked for more bottled water and they asked me if I had already consumed the ones provided in the suite. I found that strange. Do have to explain how much water I have left before they replenish it? Overall, I enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer for New Year’s Eve especially with the view I had. Sadly, they were fully-booked.

I booked the property as a gift for my son and his family while in town. The size of the unit allocated is huge enough to accommodate a family of 5 and allowed them entertain friends over during their stay. The amenities are superb; staff are super courteous and the Cafe Astoria serves great food! Astoria Plaza will now be our home away from home while in the Philippines!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

The check in process went in smoothly. The hallway to the elevators though are very hot, some areas are not well ventilated. We checked in a two bedroom suite. The suite was nice and spacious. The suite looks new and it’s furnitures. The suite had enough AC’s to keep the place cool. I like that they’re not very strict with the food we asked to be delivered because some hotels charge corkage fee. The breakfast buffet was decent for its price. I wish they offer pool towels because we had to bring our own. I recommend the hotel because of its price and the room looks new and spacious.
