O Christmas Tree! Vrbo to provide Temporary Christmas Tree Service for holidaymakers
With less than five weeks to go until Christmas Day, Brits are busy preparing for a festive season to remember. Whether planning to visit friends or family elsewhere in the UK this year, Vrbo®, a global expert in family holiday rentals, wants to ensure nothing ruins the perfect family Christmas, not even the risk of a shortage of Christmas trees near the big day!
To make sure Brits have everything they need to celebrate with their loved ones, Vrbo has launched the ‘Temporary Christmas Tree Service’, a service which provides travellers with their very own Christmas tree, to make their Vrbo holiday rental during the Christmas holidays feel festive and just like being at home! To request the service, travelers simply have to contact the Vrbo team via email (pressUK@vrbo.com).
For holidaymakers booking a stay in the UK on the Vrbo platform during the Christmas period*, they will be able to receive a Christmas tree at their chosen property, at no extra cost, to ensure they can enjoy a traditional, family Christmas celebration. One less thing to worry about packing and no tears from the kids in case of a shortage of Christmas trees.
The humble Christmas tree has a very important place in Brits’ hearts. A third (33%) claimed that decorating the Christmas tree is when they start getting into the Christmas spirit, whilst 4 in 10 (45%) stated that decorating the tree is what they like most about Christmas!
And for half of Brits (50%), the Christmas tree is considered the favourite family tradition during the holidays – a family Christmas celebration clearly isn’t complete without the much-loved Christmas tree!

*Travellers who want to request they simply need to email Vrbo (pressUK@vrbo.com) from 24th November 2021 (12.01am UK time) till the 10th December 2021 (11.59pm UK time), for stays in the United Kingdom holiday homes (excluding Northern Ireland) checking in no later than 22nd December 2021 and checking out at the earliest on 25th December 2021. The service is subject to availability, while stocks last with the latest delivery date being midday UK 23rd December (subject to prior verification of the requested details by Vrbo, which will occur prior to this date).
