Fish Haus: charming cottage with breathtaking views of the Missouri River!!

One of two cottage guest rooms, made with hand-hewn barn beams collected from historic barns. The interiors are spacious and beautifully decorated, each with a special theme. Both suites have a kitchenette, full private bathroom and plenty of amenities. Relax with some coffee, hot chocolate or your own beverages on the deck overlooking the valley. Enjoy the morning view in the ultimate comfort and warmth of a queen bed with quality linens. When you're ready, we'll serve a homemade continental breakfast. A full breakfast is also available for an extra charge. SEE IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW.

No need to guess the theme of the Fish Haus cottage, which will be appreciated by sportsmen and collectors alike. The large seating area of the Fish Haus guest room has a queen sleeper sofa and an antique walnut wardrobe has ample room for your things. Along with the queen size bed, this cottage sleeps four adults (extra charge of $50 each for additional people > 2) and is perfect for a friends' getaway weekend.

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I LOVED staying at the fish haus cottage! Tricia was very welcoming and friendly, you couldn’t ask for a better host! The views are incredible! We definitely plan to try and revisit the area again and will most definitely rebook this cabin!

A Nice Retreat

Tricia and Tom were wonderful hosts, the breakfast was fabulous and the B & B was a perfect place to stay for exploring the Missouri wine area. Our only regret was needing to cut our visit short due to our overly anxious little bulldog, but hope to return in the future.

Everything you need for a peaceful weekend

Better than the photos and description! The view and quiet are just what you need for a peaceful weekend. Watch the river slowly churn by and listen to the birds chirping in the surrounding forest. Located 15 minutes from Hermann and Washington, there's plenty to do. The owner was helpful and she made amazing breakfasts. The cabin has everything you need for a short stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the B & B. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with big windows overlooking the Missouri River. The view was outstanding! Tricia made us a delicious breakfast. This is a very special place. We would love to come back. Thank you!

Rented as home base to attend a conference in Hermann, MO. Jealous of friend who got to stay as much as desired while I had to leave for the conference. Host is very welcoming and obviously loves hosting, providing amazing breakfasts and proud of the property and views she gets to share. My dog was quite welcome and loved the chance to be outside “in the wild”. It was trees on the river bluff but more wild than her usual haunts. Can’t wait to go back again!

Cute duplex cabin with eclectic decorations. Bed was very firm. Beautiful and peaceful view of Missouri River. If both units are booked, there could be a high possibility of lack of privacy in the unit. Only blind at end if bed.
