In the heart of Warnemünde, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and the Alter Strom, and within sight of the Warnemünde lighthouse, the “Felix” and “Tom” holiday apartments at Kapitänshaus Fröhlich are available for your relaxing holiday. Dear guests, welcome to the Kapitänshaus Fröhlich!
We offer you a cosy holiday apartment in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde, just a few minutes from the Baltic Sea beach.

On the ground floor of the Kapitänshaus Fröhlich, the quietly located “Felix” holiday apartment is available for guests. The holiday apartment is approximately 48 square metres in size, fully tiled, and features a living room with a double sofa bed, an open kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, and a shower room with a hair dryer. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove, oven, induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle. The living room features satellite TV, a radio, a CD/Blu-ray player, and free Wi-Fi.
In front of the living room is a terrace where you can relax.
The holiday rental is for non-smokers only and accommodates up to 4 people.

The initial amenities for the apartment include one set of linens per person,
(included in the final invoice price: bed linens, towels, tea towels,shower mat).

In the same building, you can also rent the two 3-room holiday apartments, “Tom” and “Fröhlich,” each accommodating 2–4 people.


The building is located in a pedestrian zone.

At Friedrich-Barnewitz-Str. 9, you can rent enclosed parking spaces from us starting at 6 € per night.


Bakeries, restaurants, shops, bike rentals, the beach, the promenade, Alter Strom, etc.—everything is just around the corner.

Visitor’s tax starting at 01.09.2023 in Rostock + Warnemünde:
Adults aged 15 and older: 3.70 €/day
Severely disabled (50% or more): 1.45 €/day
Children ages 6–14: 1.45 €/day
Exempt from visitor’s tax: Severely disabled 80% or higher, accompanying persons, only if the person with severe disability is 100% disabled and has a registered disability certificate
Children up to age 5, business travellers, athletes, conference attendees, travellers in transit, local residents

Additional services available upon request for a separate fee, bookable directly with the rental provider:
- High chair/each: 2.00 € one-time fee
- Travel cot (without mattress or bedding): 2.50 € per night
