This was a very nice little place to stay for the weekend and was just what we needed for some peaceful relaxing time away. The property is beautiful, and the home is the perfect for a small group or family. We did end up needing to buy our own toilet paper, but other than that it was well stocked and had all the necessities.
Our visit kept us busy during the day with lots of outdoor activities. This home was a great resting place at night. Very peaceful, plenty of room to spread out and a well appointed kitchen. Would definitely book again when we are back in the area.
Outstanding property nestled in the woods with a short walk to the docks and lake. Very clean, just as pictured. Close to both Eufala and Abbyville with plenty of great family owned restaurants and shops. The property owner could not have been nicer. We highly recommend!

Lovely, quaint and cozy home. Extremely peaceful stay. Will be back.
Perfect house for our group while fishing a tournament on Eufaula, location is great for accessing multiple ramps.
The house is super clean and has all of the creature comforts needed. The homeowner is awesome, very hospitable and responsive!
Came down to watch our son graduate basic training at Ft. Moore Army Base.

We came down for a football weekend. Our high school played Friday and watch College with family on Saturday. Easy house to find, plenty of room for all os us. Everything we needed was there, comfortable and clean. Would love to stay again. Thank you Barbara
This spot was just what my family needed. A quiet weekend in the country. We loved the peaceful walk through the back of the property, over the walking bridge and through the woods, to the stunning sunrise views over the water. We caught several bass and catfish during our stay as well. The wifi was not working well during our stay, but that worked out perfectly to encourage my 3 teenagers to come outside with us and enjoy life.

I rented this home while on Eufaula for a week with my sons as they prepared for their high school bass fishing state championship. The location was perfect for accessing many areas of the lake and provided easy access to multiple ramps. The home was exactly what we were looking for! It was super clean with all the creature comforts, convenient, easy access, secure, nice neighborhood, etc. As an added bonus the homeowner is amazing, very responsive and really cares about the guest experience!
Response from VrboOwner on 3 Jul 2023
From the owner: "David and his family were awesome guests. During his stay it rained quite a bit and washed a lot of dirt onto the front entrance way. He let me know right away and I was able to get my yard guy out to not only cut the grass but clean the area that kept flooding with mud. He and his family were very careful not to track it inside the house. Very considerate! I would definitely host David and his family again."
The overall accuracy of the listing is 100% spot on. The communication with the homeowners was very helpful and they had fast response time. The homeowners made us feel so welcomed and at home. We have a service animal, and the homeowners were very accepting and willing to work with us. The homeowners are absolutely amazing people. The house is a very open floor plan, On the outside, it may be a small house, but in the inside is so open and doesn’t feel over crowded. The dock was in good condition. And from what the homeowner said it’s getting ready to have some big nice upgrades and we can’t wait to stay there when it is done.
The”private boat dock” that, according to the photos, appears to be just out the back of the property. In reality you must hike through the woods to find it. The water is not even visible from the property. There needs to be better lighting in the master bathroom and the bedrooms. Need full instructions on how to lock front door when going out. Internet/Wi-fi is slow.

My siblings and I plan a trip every year in May to celebrate my birthday. We have family in Eufaula and wanted to spend time with them. Our stay was May 25th thru the 29th. The place in Abbeyville was perfect for our trip. The place was small but very spacious. It was secluded which is what I was looking for. The place was very clean. The lake is a nice walk located down a pathway in the back of the house. The deck is fenced in so it was good for late night sitting. Would recommend and would definitely return for another visit.

House fit our needs for a short stay central to us coming in from three locations. Owner needs to upgrade linens-master BR sheets are thin and pilly. Towels were bleach stained and there were not enough towels/washcloths for the number of people they say they sleep. Maybe consider ditching the religious decor-could be costing them stays (basic rule of real estate).
