See vibrant starfish, conch and other sea snails, docile nurse sharks, sea turtles, and countless exotic fish right in front on the house. The beach itself is great for shelling and beach exploring.

First and foremost - I am a husband, father, and grandfather! I love my hometown in South Carolina and have worked to make a positive impact throughout my career on the lives of residents and on the community. I still enjoy a good Appalachian State Football game with the guys who were teammates with me back when we played college ball. I lead a worship service at the local retirement home on Sunday mornings. I love picking a guitar and singing with friends and family every chance I get.

Why they chose this property

Over the years, I have led numerous mission trips to the Island of Eleuthera, many of which had a "home base" in Tarpum Bay. Our group has worked both independently and alongside of other churches and youth groups to help those in need on Eleuthera. In doing so, we have built deep and lasting relationships with friends who have long since become family. ...folks who have flown up to SC to attend all three of my children's weddings and be a part of other key life events.

I was given a wonderful opportunity to buy this land and build a home on the island for my family to enjoy. Each time we come back down to Eleuthera, it is like coming home again! After a few years of only being able to enjoy Eleuthera when work and school schedules would allow, we decided to open our home up for you to be able to enjoy the island as much as we always have! Eleuthera means freedom! Come visit! Feel freed from the stresses of life. Find a new place to call home just like we have. Tell them that you are staying at Unca Ray's place!

What makes this property unique

This home has waters like nowhere else in the world. Calm. Clear. Shallow. Tons of beautiful and exciting sea life to see while snorkeling the reef, but nothing that will scare a novice out of the water. The views are breathtaking. The sunset each night is prettier than the day before. Kayaks are provided for an experience that cannot be put into words! You have the entire beach to yourself almost 100% of the time. The people of Eleuthera are among the friendliest in the world and will make you feel genuinely welcome on the island. ...but don't take our word for it. Find out for yourself!
