A very spacious comfortable homely farmhouse with beautiful view.
A very spacious comfortable homely farmhouse with beautiful view. The children especially enjoyed the hot tub. Downsides were the very narrow 2 mile road from the village and the rocky farm track to the farmhouse. We arrived on a very wet day so the parking area was very muddy. There isn't a washing machine or dryer so trying to dry wet towels was an issue for 12. The description said one basket of logs would be provided. This was not the case and the local garage did not have any. I assume logs are available only during winter months as with the Rayburn which was not lit and the oven was small; a challenge when cooking for 12 people. Despite these minor hiccups the holiday was lovely.

It is very remote with a very long drive and the nearest shop is a small Spa shop at a petrol station. Advisable to take provisions with you. Apart from the peacocks it is very peaceful.
