We had a very relaxing holiday.

We had a very relaxing holiday. The cottage was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. The dog loved the freedom field he could run around safely while my children played. The area was so peaceful was lovely sitting outside in the garden. Was lovely to go see the donkeys and goats pottering around in their field.The pool was amazing, again very clean and well kept hours of fun had. A booking system would improve the swimming experience.Lots of things to do not far away from the cottage, steam train rides, the beach, the air museum, dinosaur attraction.We went on some nice runs exploring the area.

Moor farm cottage is lovely.

Moor farm cottage is lovely. It is clean and comfortable - everything you would want from a holiday cottage.The facilities onsite are great - lovely swimming pool and the animal were so sweet and friendly.However, if you are expecting immaculate furnishings and decor then this may not be the place for you. The sofas are worn but extremely comfortable and as I said before, very very clean - no crumbs behind the cushions! Some of the light fittings are a bit wonky and there are little bits of wallpaper missing and a few cracks - especially on the beam above the stairs. This is a 300 year old cottage and is to be expected. None of this mattered to us and did not detract from an excellent stay. Everyone on site was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay and I would not hesitate in recommending it to family and friends.
