Beautiful 4 bedroom house available in Looe. Great for families, couples, or business men/women looking for a unique experience in a beautiful property.
The property was completely renovated in 2018, and brand new to rent for 2019. There are 4 double bedrooms all with en-suites. The house has a stunning, brand-new kitchen with everything you will need. The kitchen, dining room, and lounge are all open plan. There are unrivalled views overlooking the town, harbour, beach, sea, and river. It is undoubtedly the best view in the whole area. You can see these stunning views from the open plan space in the property, and also from the small terrace at the front.
There is a parking space for 1 car.
You are close by to breathtaking coastal paths on the South-West coast for people who like to walk. It is a place of outstanding natural beauty.
Nearby you also have watersports to participate in, including kayaking, paddle boarding, boat trips, fishing, and crabbing.
Although the property has no garden, there is a small terrace at the front of the property to sit on.
It is a completely no smoking property, including the terrace. No big groups or parties. There is an extra person charge for the 8th person as the lounge area gets a little bit tight with 8 people, but is ideal for 7.

Parking very tight, place very clean on arrival. Amazing views of Looe from house. Could do with a couple of extra saucepans, but everything else really good. We enjoyed our stay in the Gulls very much.Thank you for everything. The McClelland family.

Superb location! Probably some of the best views in Looe. Lovely accommodations. Extremely responsive host. Steep-ish stairs to go up to bedrooms. Not a problem at all, just a mention to help those with mobility issues.

A beautiful home with stunning views over the estuary and beach.We were two families staying with young children and there was plenty of space for all of us. We were grateful for en suite shower / bath rooms at the end of a day on the beach when everyone was sandy and salty! There are more stairs than obvious in the listing, so a little side note for anyone who might struggle with that.The welcome basket was appreciated and Lorraine was incredibly helpful and a very friend host - thank you!

The property is in an amazing location overlooking the harbour and the beach and generally is well maintained. However because of it's location you need to be aware that the approach to the property is along a very narrow road with vehicles tightly parked all along it and negotiating the single parking spot with even a medium sized vehicle is not easy. The property is on three levels which you enter from the top and the stairways to each level are narrow and twisty so anyone with mobility issues will struggle. All of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms and the views from the front ones are just amazing. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and roomy and is very well fitted out with everything you could possibly need. Mobility issues aside we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Gulls and the hosts were very attentive to our needs. Looe is a wonderful holiday resort .

Lorraine and Brendan were fantastic hosts and we would completely recommend The Gulls. The house has exceptional views - we are going to miss waking up to those views - short walk in town and plenty to do. There is a property book on the coffee table with so many wonderful suggestions on what to do. Would definitely come back again!

Great house and a lovely stay

A lovely house in West Looe, very easy walk to the other side where alot of the restaurants and pubs are. The house was very clean with everything we could need. Communication was great and Lorraine was very helpful and responsive. Definetley recommend this stay

High Above Looe

Very nice house with great views of Looe thanks to its situation on the side of the deep valley of the Looe River. Looe is a lovely base for hiking and sea fishing.

A great trip

Overall we had an amazing time at this property. Communication with the owner could not have been any better. Only queries would be the TV connection was a bit unstable at times, a couple of the carpets had small stains on them. Other than that we had a great stay.

Short family break

Views of looe were great from the property. Even though it was quite hilly we enjoyed walking into town and visiting various shops. The only negative was the tv in the lounge had an intermittent signal and the wi-fi did not always work downstairs. But we enjoyed our time at The Gulls

Great location for Looe and travelling around Cornwall

We were pleased with our accommodation and felt it was reasonably priced. It was in a great location for walking in to Looe and visiting nearby coastal villages in Cornwall. The accommodation was well equipped and the bedrooms were spacious. Lounge, kitchen and dining area were well appointed and comfortable. Host communicated well, directions and check in straightforward. A good choice of restaurants in Looe but would advise booking. We would stay at this property again.

The Best View of Looe

Situated on a cliffside, the view was spectacular...Every morning, we had the pleasure of sipping coffee [lovely French Press and VERY well outfitted kitchen] at the dining table with a view of the sea, the beach, the town with its beautiful stone and stucco architecture and the boats as they entered the quay. After full days of hiking, biking, pubs, and music... we retired to hot showers [all bedrooms ensuite and very comfy beds. Lorraine was very quick to respond to any of our questions about the property or the area. A wonderful place for our family's week in Looe/Cornwall.

We loved this bright apartment in the beautiful little town of Looe. The rooms were comfortable and each one is an ensuite which was so convenient. The view from the front room is breathtaking and we got to enjoy a few sunny days and one rainy/lazy day watching the waves and boats go by. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The only thing to be aware of is that it is located off a very narrow road. I had a little problem trying to park my car in the space but eventually got the hang of it.

Great house for our cousins trip to Cornwall

My 2 cousins, my 3 kids and myself really enjoyed our stay. Great sea views and ground floor space for the 6 of us. We could also walk to the restaurants we had booked in Looe town so very convenient. The house is access. Is a narrow lane with one parking space (don’t try in a large 4 by 4) , but free parking at the bottom of the liane. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. Note as the house is on 3 levels would not be suitable for those with movement challenges.

superb stay.. really lovely house, clean, tidy, comfortable and everything works.views from the front kitchen and front two bedrooms are exceptional.There are a few stairs plus a bit of a hill to negotiate - but I'm 60 and had no troublemy mid twenties children were on the beach in 10 minutes - five if the ferry is working.Looe itself is beautifully un spoilt with plenty to do. Shops, bars & restaurants of all kinds.The sardine factory is Michelin accredited and the pick of the bunch.We caught and ate Mackerel. We took a very pretty train to Plymouth, but most of the time was on the beach (or the bar at the back of the beach)Please go - escape for a while, it really is a wonderful place.Maybe a king-size bed would help - but then I'm not skinny :-)

The house was very quirky but the layout worked really well for us. The younger members of the family slept in the top bedrooms, and the older, earlier risers stayed on 1st floor. The views were just amazing, from the lounge/dining room, and 2 of the bedrooms, a real tonic and chillout.. If you are a light sleeper, choose the side bedrooms as the sound of the gulls, and creaky floors, and the sunny rooms at the front, won't help you lie in. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped and nice and modern. We didn't use the welcome pack but would be good to include salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil.Just a few sentences to help out future guests.... we were unexpectedly greeted by Brendan, Lorraine's husband. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We found it difficult to find the house, the front and the back where the parking space was, as we had no directions. We only had the postcode and photo of parking space. I think this was just an oversight. Lorraine answered her phone straight away and directed us. There is not a 5th bathroom to use, as it is used as a store, and a spare in case of problems, but it was not needed anyway. There are plenty of hangers in the wardrobes but the bedside cupboards only provide tiny drawers.We booked a Tesco delivery to be delivered on the first evening. This made a massive difference as we didn't waste any of our holiday food shopping.We had a lovely week in Looe, and got fitter with the hills and steps.

Tolle Aussicht mit großartigem Meerblick! Wir wurden, obwohl wir zu früh ankamen, freundlich Willkommen geheißen. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche stand ein nettes Starter-Paket bereit, es gab auch einiges Info-Material zu Aktivitäten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. In den Ort und zum Strand auf der anderen Seite des Kanals läuft man ca. 15-20 min. Das Auto haben wir, nachdem es einmal in die wirklich enge Parkbucht hineinmanövriert hatten, die meiste Zeit lieber stehengelassen. In Looe einen Parkplatz zu finden, ist ohnehin schwierig. Die Unterkunft ist gut gepflegt - die am Haus brütenden Möwen haben allerdings an den Fenstern und vor dem Haus überall Spuren hinterlassen, was den ansonsten sauberen Eindruck ein wenig getrübt hat. Kleinere Abzüge auch für die Synthetikdecken und den in manchen Duschen und WCs geringen Wasserdruck.

The View

The stay here was wonderful! First time renting a house in the UK. The water view was the big draw, and it did not disappoint. Beds were great, and we all enjoyed the coziness of the home.
