Villa de Lucca - A Vineyard Estate

Our gated Mediterranean Wine Country Villa sits on 9.6 acres with panoramic views of rolling vineyards similar to the what you see in Tuscan, Itlay. Villa de Lucca was on the cover of the Most Beautiful Homes of the Central Coast and is furnished with many works of art from around the world. Unpack and make yourself at home in our spacious, warm and inviting 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom custom built home with a delicately designed vibrant courtyard and oversized cascading olive jar water fountain. Pour yourself a glass of wine and take in the views from the jacuzzi hot tub or let your inner child out in our garage game room by playing a game of ping pong, shuffleboard or air hockey with the ones you love. Welcome home! Fire pit is offered as an additional fee of $350 per reservation so please let us know if you’d like to add that to your stay as key will not be left without prior communication. Also, the fire pit fee is added in as "Property Fees" on the itemized payment page, as this app does not have a Fire Pit option for extra fees.

Our 3800 SF Villa features a Private Gated Entrance to the 9.6 acres property fenced in on three sides. This tranquil setting and panoramic views lends to breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. After you enter the gate code, the wrought-iron gate that frames the view of the oak tree forest slowly opens towards you. Drive up the driveway past the forest that houses 3 owls and 2 red tail hawks, grey squirrels and a small family of deer. There are hawks and turkey vultures that soar over the hill where the Villa sits and birds can be heard singing away the afternoon. Welcome to our private property.

This is the beginning of your vacation.
It’s time to enjoy the Villa and the tranquil setting, with a glass of wine in hand. Our home opens with a majestic rotunda tower entry and 17 foot ceilings, surrounded by archways that lead your eye past the formal living room to the breathtaking views of the vineyards. The open floor plan makes this home great for conversation and enjoying your family and friends. Villa de Lucca is filled with rich, crystal clear surround sound throughout the property per the Sonos System which plays your favorite tunes from your mobile device.

The timeless formal open concept living room provides a place to engage in lively conversations by the electric fireplace. The living room offers 14 ft vaulted ceiling with exposed painted beams and five sets of french doors which lead out to the covered patio. This comfortable and well lit room gives the feeling of being outside. The adjacent formal dining room comfortably seats eight and features an exposed crossbeam ceiling. French doors gives guests easy access to the rear patio, or courtyard.

For the chef in your group, follow the Tavertine tiles to the oversized kitchen where you can create your feast. There is room for plenty of chefs in this kitchen with the 8 ft island and 6 ft bar. The kitchen also features a five burner gas range, hood, double ovens with convection, refrigerator, wine chiller, microwave, 2 dishwashers and 2 sinks and a walk in pantry for all your entertainment needs. The fully equipped kitchen boasts many appliances like Vitamix, Keurig, waffle maker, Hand Mixer, coffee maker, sandwich press, and coffee grinder. Along with everything you need to have a family dinner for 12 including numerous pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware and bowls. If you prefer not to cook, let us know and we can arrange a private chef to come to the Villa for you.

The adjacent casual dining room, features a granite counter top nook, the perfect place to host a spread of delicious food family style. The dining room table seats four with french doors that lead to the beautiful courtyard with a bubbling fountain. The nearby family room has a comfortable leather couch, electric fireplace and TV for movie night with the family.

The villa features a split wing layout. The west wing features a large master suite with vaulted ceilings and master bathroom. The master suite provides privacy and views of neighboring vineyards while lying in the comfortable king bed. It also boasts a see through fireplace, TV, and red handmade banana leaf night lamps.

The master bath features a glass shower with two shower heads, one hand shower and even a shower seat. His and her separate vanities gives you plenty of room to get ready for your day on the Central Coast. The jetted tub looks out on the vineyards and creates a grand place to enjoy a bubble bath. Fireplaces aren’t just for living rooms. A built-in fireplace provides a relaxing view from the tub as well as handy heating for when it’s time to get out. Picture yourself soaking in a whirl pool bath with candle light while looking at the flames of a fireplace that warm your soul a views of rolling vineyards.

Guest bedroom 1 is located in the west wing, up a beautiful spiral cherry wood staircase with a veranda over looking the foyer. You are welcomed by a comfortable queen size bed with double night stands and architecturally designed bedside lamps. The private bathroom has a glass shower, private closet and jade green granite counter tops. Enjoy the vineyard views from the private balcony or even from laying in bed. Sleep with the sliding glass door open and fall asleep to the sound crickets and birds while your body is washed with a warm breeze.

Guest bedroom 2 and 3 are located in the east wing closest to the Game Garage. Both bedrooms feature a queen bed, nightstand and private closet to unpack with views of the country out the 3 windows. Guest bedroom 3 also has a desk and computer which can double as an office if need be.

Ready to have some fun?! Our Garage Game Room is complete with Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Air Hockey and a couch with a wall mounted TV so you can catch your favorite team on the big screen. Open the 3 garage doors to brighten up the space with light and a cool breeze as you make memories with the ones you love.

It’s time to go outside…The backyard is the best place to entertain or enjoy the sunset with one of the best views in the country from the comfort of a wrap around couch. And, imagine relaxing in a hot tub with a glass of wine as you take in the sunset over looking the neighboring vineyards and panoramic views. Time seems to slip away with views and great company around you. There is also a BBQ for those that want to man the grill too. The long stretch of lawn framed with lavender bushes make it a joy to be outside with the ones you love. If you are feeling adventurous, take a morning walk along the quiet country roads that surround the home.

The vibrant courtyard plaza with bubbling olive jar fountain can be seen thru the french doors in the casual dining room, formal dining room, formal sitting room, grand entryway or when exiting the master bedroom or strolling down the Cherrywood staircase from the guest suite. It is delicately designed to be a peaceful place to meander thru and allows one to enjoy the simple beauty that surrounds us. It is lined with brilliant pink Salvia's, vivid purple Lavender and Sweet Pea Petite Buttlerflies plants dotted with a variety of large succulents. The Spurge Glacier Blue with it's beautifully variegated foliage and long-lasting flowers is complimented with majestic pedestal the boast a Mediterranean planter overflowing with healthy succulents. The brick wall was built with historic bricks from the 1909 San Francisco earthquake and bring a rich history to this space. Follow the wooly grevillea evergreen shrubs to the magnificent fountain and delightful sound of cascading water. It is only fitting, in this beautiful wine county, that a flying heart made from wine barrel staves appears to be floating against the Villa's wall. Our courtyard, open to the blue sky, with plenty of light, offers a beautiful backdrop that can be appreciated from all viewpoints in the home.
